This place is so neat. Their brunch was incredible. Healthy portions that are filling but not ridiculous. Unique selection. AMAZING decor -- Instagram aficionados will love it here.

I ate here in 1989 and loved the fresh, innovative cuisine in a quirky, warm tavern. 22 years later, I returned and fell back in love with the cuisine, incredible service and the best Brussel spouts.

Pricey but very good! We went on a very crowded night (new Penn students) but received complimentary drinks to make up for the wait. Our waiter , Josh, was very friendly & informative about their menu.

Phenomenal! Appetizer—whipped goat cheese and ricotta , drizzled with a balsamic reduction and dotted with sweet figs . My entree—the spicy lamb bolognese . I would return in a heartbeat!

Had the burger (apparently won best of philly) w/ bacon & egg on top. A bit messy, but worth it. Good draft selection as well

The Lamb Bolognese is great! The mushroom soup is very good. The mocktails are very interesting. The fried chicken sandwich , however, lacks flavor.

Great local beer on tap . The squash bruschetta was amazing. I got the huevos rancheros which were ok, regretted not buying other thing more afterwards.

The white dog cafe is spectacular!!! Not only great food, but first class service and the ambiance is great. The chef 's presentation is one of the greatest pieces of the dining puzzle as well .

The kids will ove the doggie decor and you'll appreciate a delicious meal that is local, healthy and sustainable. Brunch is a real treat!

Thai beef salad was great. Also don’t miss the pretzel bread .

Stop in for the happy hour , which includes all drafts . Try the beet hummus too, weird but tasty.

Delicious pastas , great ambiance, steak wasn't worth the price, not many vegan options .

A unique and diverse food menu, though the real draw here is dessert : try the Chocolate Lover's Sampler.

Fried green tomatoes are good and the glazed tofu is amazing!! Good beers on tap , great service.

If you sit in the front room, be prepared for noise. It has sort of an old English pub feel and there tends to be a number of loud talkers.

Tasty but way overpriced. University city high rollers hang out here. The only vegan item on the menu, tofu with sautéed veggies , was darn good.
