Try the Obama bomb . If you have good taste, you won't be disappointed. If you were an 80's or 90's kid, you'll also dig the music selection. Some old mixed with the new and loooud!

Cool old building with a darkened but relaxed interior. Bloody Mary bar is a little kitschy but still good and reasonably priced ($10 for pick your own rim, liquor and accoutrements)

Set in the former Mechanics National Bank building in Old City , this bar/restaurant looks great from the outside and sports an eccentric but warm atmosphere inside.

$6 burgers/veggie burgers during happy hour . Perpetual happy hour on Yuenglings ($3). You can easily spend very little or live like a hip king here. Awesome brunch , too.

They built this bar inside the walls of the old National Mechanics Bank . 18 taps. A great whiskey list. Most adventurous, but crazy good, things to order? Bacon vodka or jalapeno tequila , straight up.

Amazing cocktails , delicious food, and very friendly servers . Loved this place! Try the veggie burger , even if you aren't vegetarian !

Brussel Sprouts ... Amazing. Also enjoyed an amazing Salmon dish .

I expected something different....its a large room with 2 single coed bathrooms tucked in a corner that you need to fight your way to through the crowd. its dark and very Edgar Allen poe in there.

Go at night to get the cool experience. Best Tom Collins - love watching the big screen especially during the Olympics. London 2012!!!

Ask for a round of Apple Whiskey shots - I've been told it's made in-house. It's full of cinnamon goodness that will definitely warm you up on a cold night.

I highly recommend the vegetarian tortellini ! The drinks are great too!

Being a Texan, I love the Frito Pie ! Great tasting, fun to eat, and brings back memories of summer days as a kid at the pool and my brothers little league games.
