Best Japanese restaurant in OC it is like eating Japan here!! They make their noodle every morning by professional freshly handmade in house Best recommendation to people who like to eat Japanese food
Excellent and affordable Japanese sushi/izakaya joint, located in a sad-looking strip mall . Don't let the exterior fool you, the food is excellent and *quite* authentic . Read more
Simple yet carefully cooked tasty food. Clientele was almost all Japanese. I see the reason why. Not only noodle but also appetizers - great alternative as "izakaya ". Good find!
It was best Japanese hand made udon ever!! So tasty and authentic . They got a lot of amazing dishes
Authentic Japanese Udon & Soba .
Great Japanese restaurant which is best in Costa Mesa
Tororo udon : grounded "Yama imo" (yum yet slimy) is good (4 Japanese at least). Udon is too hard for my liking..
braised pork rice and mentaiko tororo cold udon r the best!!!
Sesame tofu and Beef Udon are excellent
Buta kakuni : pork belly needs a lil more fat like it's supposed to b.. I prefer a lil sweeter one.
I always get the Roast pork bowl and beef tendon ! Oishii
Best lunch break !! Always satisfy
Awesome new Japanese restaurant . Cash only .
Soba and udon time
Tsukemen was not too bad!
If you see albacore on the board, order it.
We waited an hour to get in because the waiter didn't call us even though the table was already set up. Then we ordered, we waited another hour to get our food. No one cared to ask. Horrible service!
I liked it better than the popular noodle house a couple doors down. Authentic Japanese atmosphere and food - Karen Ticer-Leon
Beef tongue, pork cheek and the grilled octopus are must orders. Everything we had was delicious and I can't wait to go back! - Mimi Nguyen
So good! Love the menu that shows you how to make cool combos like Bomb Pop and Creamsicle. - Catrina Lim
From fish to real Koshihikari rice, a broad range of Japanese standards found nowhere else - like fresh Yuzu Kosho in Red and Green - and Tokyo Negi - and Saki Lees for pickles. Great Miso selection. - g oconnor
There's a new Japanese style pasta place next to Daikokuya and Sushi Boy. If you miss Italian Tomato's hot food, go there! - Dominique Dinh
