If you drive up to the peak, the last quarter mile to the watch tower is rocky, so wear good shoes . Hikes from the fire house take about 2 hours or so.
Get to the parking lot and then hike for a bit and you'll be able to see the entire city . Also there is a cute chipmunk up there n____n
Great views ! Some paved paths, some rocky steep paths. Great spot to have lunch and a hike . Flush toilets too! 😀

Don't bother coming early, the trail parking doesn't open until 7am.
Stunning trail. We did the portion that connects to Steep Ravine Trail and loops back to parking lot. Gorgeous views, varied scenery, and a very unusual/interesting step descent. - Nico Pitney
