Make sure you have your walking shoes on if you are going there. The Japanese cherry blossoms bloom in spring attracting lots of visitors. There are dog trails for pet lovers.
High park is amazing. Go early to get a good parking spot . Worth the trip if you've never been here and you live in Toronto. Make it a full day experience and explore Runnymede Village as well !
Have fun trying to find parking . The day I was there I saw four fights break out because of parking spots - ridiculous! The park itself is pretty cool and quite huge, nice trails for walks.
huge park with gardens , playgrounds , dog runs , ponds , sporting areas, and more as well as wilderness spaces and trails in a residential area of western toronto.
2 free parking lots in the park : at the Grenadier Restaurant in the middle & on Spring road at the south east corner. Parking is also available sporadically along West Road and Colborne Lodge Drive.
When exploring High Park, make your way to the walking paths around the lake for picturesque views of the city
If you try to avoid cafes and public places to meet friends, take a walk in the High Park, you will love it!😉

The city 's largest, High Park has everything from an outdoor pool to a restaurant ...even a zoo ! The fenced-in off-leash trails are doggie heaven. The best secret?Shakespeare with wine & cheese .

Is it me or does the street meat tastes better there? Make sure to take the train at least one time to see around. Great park to hike , bike or even flask it up lol

Come here if you want to see cherry blossom flowers but expect to see more people than cherry blossoms (aka. Super crowded ).

There are many entrances, I do recommend the main one on Bloor Street.
Sakura is beautiful but the park is so outdated.

The conditions on Grenadier Pond are excellent for skating this January 2015. A freezing rain melted all snow on the ice into the ice and it is quite thick, smooth and clear. Some bumpy sections. - Alex Laney
