A lot of people open the gate and let their dogs run , who have been cooped up. Thus run like crazy, high energy etc and fight can break out. Hit the trails first and tire your dog out.
#Warning just spoke a police officer at the High Park Dog park. This afternoon a Dobberman bit another dog when the owner approached the Dobbermans owner he was violently pushed!
Come early in the morning or late at night and you won't have to fight for space with 10 000 other dog owners. It can get a little crazy on the weekends.
Be extra careful around the picnic benches . My dog was playfully tackled and ended up face first into the bench . She's still traumatized.
Huge space ! Lots of dogs!! All friendly
It is a sheet of ice in there. Don't plan on any real walking.
Watch out for the dog holes!
Bring a good pair of tractioned rubber boots after rain or in spring
