Came here as part of a large group, they catered excellently for us. The live band (I think they were called SoundCheck) were excellent. Had a great night out here.
Good food, had the irish stew . Tasted very good and really enough for one person. Also the accomodation is old with charm.

Merchant's grill is good, but very heavy in terms of meat. 2 sausages , 2 slices of black pudding , 1 minute steak , 1 burger topped with a fried egg , 2 washers, with a fried tomato and some chips .
Accommodation was great as was the value. Can be a little noisy at times but you should expect that as it is a pub after all.
Great music and dancing performed by old people
The meal for two is not even enough for one person.
Local, irish music on Saturdays at 10pm. The local itself is not as awesome as The Brazen Head (who sits across the road) but it's worth checking out! - Ruben Garcia Mohedano
