Room 209 was very quiet . Cool, calm environment & bars , great, masculine design. Loved free wifi , light switches, wooden scent in the hallways.

Hotel rooms going cheap all over Dublin. The Clarence is no exception right now. Try to avoid the ones overlooking East Essex Street and the Purty Kitchen if you want some sleep.
If you really want to have a private conversation, just take over the snug between the Octagon Bar and the cozy Essex Street room.

Very nice lunch time tasting menu but make sure you order 3 courses if you are hungry. Carpacio, lobster, lamb, clams, fish & chips - all excellent. Not fast though, give yourself 60 - 90 mins. - Mark Lenahan
