The brisket sandwich is to die for! It may differ from the usual BBQ food in Memphis, as it is Texas style , but that adds to its value. It is the only bbq of this taste and quality in Memphis.

Call in your order about fifteen minutes before you head out. By the time you get there, they will have had their time to work their magic, and you will be in, and out, in no time!

Beef brisket sandwich is amazing. It is texas style so don't expect the Memphis taste, but it is still one of the best places to grab a quality, quick meal .

Elwood's has AMAZING ribs : awesome dry rub , smoked to perfection, just shy of fall-off-the-bone. Anything you order is a good choice. Sauce is disgustingly sweet though (no offense!)

Most delicious food ever. If you've never been here you are missing out. It may not look like much but the food will surprise you. Probably my favorite restaurant in Memphis.

It takes a lot of cajones to open a BBQ shack in Memphis. And Elwood's Shack delivers ! I thought the small sandwich would be enough, but the flavors were so amazing I could have eaten 2 more!

This place is incredible... I've been eating bbq in Memphis for over 40 years and theirs is as good as any I've ever had anywhere. Try this joint out, you will not be disappointed.

What a great gem, Elwood's is great for breakfast on way to work, lunch or even dinner . Can't go wrong with Elwoods.

Haven't picked anything I didn't like. Good BBQ , good everything and they have Mexican Coke . A favorite for lunch !

Most amazing fish tacos !!! Get without horseradish sauce . Seriously so good.

Had a brisket taco and some bleu cheese jalapeño red cabbage coleslaw . Both were amazing!
