Elvis is playing, you can smell the delicious Southern style food back from the kitchen, and all around you is the beautiful fifties' charm. I came with my family, and our waitress was very friendly .
LOVE the French toast ! It's my absolute favorite thing to get here! The sausage and biscuits with gravy offers you a massive serving for people with a hearty appetite.
The expression, "Cheap , fast, good: pick two," really applies here. Took a while for the food on a very slow morning, but worth the wait. Also: no butter. At all. They have margarine. No butter.
Everything is good, if one times it right. Don’t even try it if the line in out the door, you’re probably not going to be impressed if you do!
Want something simple and delicious? Try the "Breakfast Pizza "!
Elvis used to frequent this cafe ! 50s diner style , Try the sweet potato pancakes - comes with loads of sides! You will be FULL!
Classic diner in Memphis. Great spot to get breakfast or try out some of the King’s old favorites
The plates are giant portions ! French toast is divine deep fried and the Redneck Breakfast is delicious sausage patty , biscuits and gravy .
Good food. Friendly people. The oldest cafe in Memphis, I believe.
Fun to visit for the atmosphere and historical significance. Food is average and service is slow. Good milkshake and hash browns .
Try the #8 if you like sausage gravy and biscuits .....travel channel recommended it and so do we!!!! Huge and delicious !!!
Open for breakfast and lunch daily. For a bit of history, enjoy your meal at the booth Elvis frequented when he ate at the Arcade. It's the last booth on the left.
Tall or big sized gentlemen, do not sit at the bar . The clearance between the step and the bar is not enough for your legs. The step prevents your feet from being underneath you. Very uncomfortable.
My favorite breakfast spot in Memphis. Perfect after working all night. Food is amazing and the service is fantastic!
Want that family breakfast diner experience! Be sure to check out the SWEET POTATO PANCAKES! Amazing!
The service food amazing. Ate The Mystery Train....artichokes feta cheese roasted tomatoes pesto aioli mmmmm.
Want that family breakfast diner experience? Be sure to check out the SWEET POTATO PANCAKES! Amazing!
Great place for breakfast when you are staying at the Madison hotel . Easily accessible via the trolley
Hadn't had anything other than breakfast items before. Lunch today was fantastic! I heartily rec the Liver & Onions , Lima Beans and the Banana Pudding . Good gosh that was good.
Sweet potato pancakes were pretty good but not anything incredible. Still a very satisfying meal overall.
The sweet potato pancakes are AWESOME!!!!!! They were very filling & tasted great with just a little bit of butter. I highly recommend them.
Breakfast that will keep you going through a really long day! I love the country ham but the sweet potato pancakes rock too!
The BEST turnip greens ever!
Breakfast anytime!
The red neck breakfast is awesome. The portion are big but not outrageous. Good value at $8.95.
One of my very favorite spots! Great food! Very retro ! ????????
#5 for breakfast includes sweet potato pancakes . Yummmm...
Old place, tiny kitchen. Expect delays, no matter the time. The French toast was good, but arrived warm. If otherwise, I had a satisfying meal I'm the oldest restaurant in Memphis.
No need to google where to get a beer at 7am in Memphis.... Come to the Arcade.... A diamond in the rough.
Breakfast downtown
Get the sweet potato pancakes ! Best I've ever had.
The South Main sandwich is outta this world! Smoked ham , Brie , pear , creole mustard , and pesto . AMAZING!
Everything I've eaten is pretty good. I stopped coming Herr for a year because the wait staff was awfully oblivious. Made me feel unwelcome. I'm giving it another go...
The back room now has HDTV with Dish TV satellite.
We had to wait more than 30 minutes for our meal. Food was ok, nothing special. It worth the visit just because it is a historic place.
Get the breakfast burrito special when they have it... best thing on the menu!
breakfast (eggs , biscuit + gravy ) were nasty + not fresh, but atmosphere was neat. a scene from walk the line was filmed here. the tables have a 60s googie pattern on them, albeit pretty worn down.
Loving this atmosphere
Try the Fried Catfish , Fried Okra , And Chili
Pert sandwich and a hot bowl of oatmeal is the way to start off your day or the sweet potato pancakes
When I was there, a mouse fell from the ceiling, onto the floor...
Try the sweet potato pancakes . Sit where elvis sat!

A breakfast worth waiting in line for. The sausage and egg biscuit is amazing. - The Commercial Appeal
Tried the chocolate raspberry staks and the cinnamon roll staks. Both were fantastic especially paired with J Brooks drip coffee. - Daniel Wickliff
A must see in Memphis! Make sure to do the audio tour. There is so much to read and the subject matter is intense so the audio tour helps balance things out so that you don't miss anything. - Raquel
Amazing! So much to see. Allow several hours to avoid rushing through the exhibits. A very magical place! - Erin Klingberg
Great little tour! enthusiastic tour guide! learned a lot new things! Not too expensive. Not too long of a tour, only takes about 45 minutes to an hour. - Kelz Horn
