This is the best barbecue in San Francisco I've tasted so far. Delicious, succulent sauce. Nice, tender well seasoned meat. You got to try this place. Very friendly cashiers .

Extra BBQ sauce w/ every order for your dipping pleasure. All food is to-go to enjoy on the picnic tables up the hill , the car, or beach . Skip the beans & rice to save room for mac n cheese .

Everything is delicious. Pork ? Amazing. Brisket ? Perfect. Sides? Glorious (especially the cole slaw and potato salad ). Cornbread ? Fantastic. The line is long but it's worth it.

Everything! Worth standing in line to get. Beans really good. Barbecue , of course, excellent. Their catch phrase says it all..."IF IT'S SMOKIN', WE'RE OPEN."

Verdict: Gorilla BBQ is now my 2nd favorite BBQ joint , ever, right behind Boney's in Denver and slightly in front of Corky's in Memphis. Go check it out if you get the chance.

Must order menu item: brisket , then ribs , in that order. Pulled pork is ok, but I've had better. Don't let the long line scare you, it moves fast.

Gorilla BBQ is a roadside setup in an old container car. They dish up some, if not the best, pulled pork and brisket I've had. They pile it high, with a mac 'n cheese side to die for.

Order everything, everything is so good! FYI: there are not tables/seats or bathrooms .

Three meat combo is perfect. With three of those we fed our family of 7. Everyone was full. Posted park and beef brisket was my favorite! Enjoy!

They changed the mac and cheese recently. It used to be phenomenal but now is mediocre. Same with the vegetable sides. Meats and sauce are still superb, but sad to have fewer menu options.

One of the most tender ribs I have ever had and the quantity is more than enough.

Try the 3 meat combo. Choice of meats. Comes with beans and rice corn bread . Plus u can choose 2 extra sides. All for around 20 bucks now thats a great deal. Food is awesome.

The chicken is out of this world. Come early, they sell out well before their closing hours.

Get a combo of 1,2 or 3 meats- flipping phenomenal! Plus, it is plenty to share for two people and still have left overs for a midnight snack . Pulled pork is amazing!

There’s no place to sit or even stand. People either eat on car bonnets or bring picnic mats.

Pulled pork sandwich with Mac n cheese side is guaranteed to be delicious! Worth the wait.

You get two containers of sauce. Dump one on the pulled pork and let soak a bit. Fantastic.

NOT Texan approved! The pulled pork , beans & rice were flavorless. The potato salad , cole slaw were disgusting! The BBQ sauce was good but real bbq doesn't need sauce.

Disappointing. I was there about 3:30pm and was drooling for BBQ . The meat was over cooked and dry. I may give them a second chance eventually.

Closed on Tuesdays. I found out the hard way.
