Windansea Beach
San Diego Windansea Beach is located in La Jolla. Since the 1940's Windansea has been known as a hot spot for surfing. Today it is still a well regarded surf location. Modern day surfers flock to this beach to ride the same waves that the historic and famous surfers of the past once caught.

Hands down best beach in SD . The people around the neighborhood kinda don't like seeing new faces but it's normal. Rent a house on the beach and you won't regret it.
To the left (or south) of the beach are some beautiful mushroom-shaped rock formations . Careful it's slippery on the way over there. Easier to get to at low tide.
Great beach ! If you aren't a very experienced surfer pass on this break. The locals don't take kindly to kooks....

There can be a bit of a current pulling you out.
The sand has filled in, plenty of room at this beach in the summer. (the sand goes away after labor day)
