La Jolla Shores Beach is a beach La Jolla Shores San Diego located in United States.
La Jolla Shores San Diego , CA 92037 United States
Best sunset views in San Diego! Don't listen to the rumors of seals infesting the shores of La Jolla. The water is clear and this is the place to go to kayak and scuba dive . Totally worth a visit!
A great beach ! The sand, the nearby restaurants and the amazing sea-life... did you know that during September/October you'll be able to swim with friendly Leopard Sharks ?!?!
Bathroom at the north end is under construction . North end is for surfing , south end is for swimming . Check out the leopard sharks in the fall. Kayaking in the cove is a fun summer/fall activity too
A bit smelly because of the sea lions but it is breathtakingly beautiful. Snorkeling here is a must, as well as a good hike along the edge of the water as far as you can go.
One of the most beautiful beaches in San Diego . Great for walking along, boogie boarding , or snorkeling with sharks and rays.
Wonderful place to take in the sunrise and a great place to walk the dog around. If you want to run, the distance the beach and tennis club and the pier and back is a mile.
Beautiful beach , & park . Very crowded making it a great place for people watching . A number of places within walking distance for food, beer , and cocktails .
So beautiful. We spent a whole day here just on the beach . We then drove over to the cove and walked all along to watch the sunset . So fun! Walk up to the main strip for some awesome dining.
Avoid the traffic and the crowds use the metro system sit down relax take pictures the 30 best from UTC mall goes south all the way down to PB the 101 best North stops right there at blacks beach
The best beach in San Diego clean and nice ????????
awesome spot to grab a coffee from Avenida de la Playa and walk the beach ! Especially before 9 you can bring leashed pets !
This beach was awesome! The weather was perfect during the month of June. San Diego was a beautiful, beautiful place!
Best spot to Snorkel , surf , or scuba in the SD area. You might see some sharks! Definitely some Garibaldi!
Great diving, waves are usually small so shore entry is easy. Plenty of marine life to see as you get deeper! Great for night dives!
It's completely packed with people, there is seaweed EVERYWHERE (and its covered in flies), and the park lot is nearly impossible to get a parking spot in. Definitely my least favorite beach in SD.
Great spot for swimming . Also, there is few good places for coffee and snacks .
A great date location. Come picnic here
Make sure to check out the leopard sharks during August September area. They are in front of the beach hotel on the south side. You can't miss them, they are 4 to 5 feet long.
My favorite beach
Great beach , safe place for the kids...just shuffle you feet to avoid the stingrays .
A fun day out - nature at its best. Seals and sea lions , pelicans and incredible sea views .
The beach is nice and the people pay a lot of fun games
One of the best places to spend the day in La Jolla. Pack a picnic and spend all day in the sun! -Piatti La Jolla
Get here early for a good parking space and enjoy a gorgeous beach ! ☀️
Awesome beach ! Few fire pits by the lifeguard towers. Stake your claim early.
One of the best sunsets in town .
It's a beautiful beach . Parking is a hassle ... most of the time! You can bring your dogs late night ...
Dive in! But get here early or you'll end up on a fishing expedition for a parking space .
I love this beach ! Beautiful sunset to watch and long beach to walk..
Very nice place for summer. One of the most beautiful beaches I've been.
great area to see the ocean and some wildlife ... seals are close by and pelican everywhere... the tide pools are my favorite... we saw an octopus and other cool sea life around them.
La Jolla is gorgeous in general, but this beach was crowded for my taste. I'd rather go to Coronado Beach or Pacific Beach in San Diego .
Some call it "The Jewel" of San Diego. Is it because sodium pentothal once made me reveal it as the location of a stash of untold riches? Probably not. Because as far as you know, that never happened.
Lovely beach .. i enjoy the view and sea lion there
Come with a tripod and take some beautiful sunset pictures
The water is so clear here! First beach I've found in Cali with clear water like this. Watch out for the stingrays tho! Scared the crap out of me...
Really nice beach in the wealthy La Jolla neighborhood . Worth spending a few hours here. Great for surfing .
Parking hell, but shuffle your feet and stay out of the surfing zone and you'll have fun!
Nice and cold beach , many activities, extra hot chics , lovely
Get your bonfire on!
Come early to stake out your place on the beach , especially during the summer.
Great place to watch the locals surf and awesome place to swim / layout
Best family-friendly surf in San Diego
Come early for a good parking spot in the summers!
Nice to surf , hike and enjoy the pier view ????
Really beautiful sunsets . Tons of water sports .
They have bonfire pits here, so bring some marshmallows , crackers , chocolate and friends to make s'mores !
No matter the crazy parking . Is so nice here ! Love love love it. The whole thing
Best beach for kids
Relaxed place where you can barbeque
Definitely perfect for family summer beach fun!! La Jolla Shore is awesome!! - Aolani Smythe
We finally tried for the first time to swim and snorkel next to sea lions. Although we didn't see anything but it was amazing. Do it guys break your fear - Maha
San Diego has the best beaches!!! I highly recommend PB for it’s laid back young vibe. They also have some really cool surf shops and restaurants on the boardwalk too. - Chuck Bronson
Love this beach. Lots of stuff to do and great restaurants too. If you have kids there are plenty activities to keep them busy. If you’re an adult and want bars and games they have that too. - Darkest Hour Apparel
Just the best darn pier. Such photoshoots. Very dogs (before 9am & after 6pm). Much surf. Wow. - Tyler
Love this place & it's approachable Italian chow! Been a family favorite for decades. - Tyler
Great for a little walking. Check out the seals you can get so close to them! Sunset here is gorgeous! - Colleen Alexander
