Lovely pub with a cozy atmosphere , open fire and a Thai restaurant at the back. It gets quite busy and the service for food is a bit slow but overall is a great choice.
Some of the best Thai food around. Always a good range of ales . Bar staff v friendly . Best to book for lunch - not always guaranteed to get a seat otherwise as it's very popular. No evening bookings .
Great selection of real ales . It is on a street called Roupell, which is listed and features terraced houses made from the traditional "London stock brick" which is a pleasing yellow in colour.
Charming neighbourhood pub . Good choice of beers . There’s also cider . Enjoyed a pint of Guinness (£6). A packet of nuts (salted, honeyed or spicy ) was £2
What a great pub ! I haven't tried their Thai food just yet, but I'll definitely come back here, if only for the traditional feel it has, tucked away in a beautiful old victorian road .
Gets a bit busy at times, but an excellent hidey-hole while waiting for a train at Waterloo, or for a film at the IMAX. The Thai menu is simple, but very good fare.
Not a spectacular beer selection but nicely kept, friendly place and cosy. Nice large seating area out the back and Thai food . Off the track somewhat, laid-back atmosphere.
Really liked the Pad Med Mamuang - tasty! Upstairs is nice for groups. Love playing board games here on a Sunday!
Located close to Waterloo Station and the Imax, and nestled half way down a very pretty and secluded backstreet, lined with period properties. An authentic British local pub . Cheers!
Great Thai food , good beer selection (including Blue Moon on tap ). Possibly the nicest pub in the area.
Literally my fav london pub . Great Thai food in a fantastic space. Drinking on the street is extra special given the aesthetic of Roupell St.
If its Ale you want go to the Kings it has a great selection at all times and always kept just right. At least 8 ales .
Ton Yum & fish cakes for starters, Pad Thai and prawns for mains.... super food and great pub up front for craft beers ???? 5 stars
A very warm and charming pub with a lot of character, hidden in a quiet and typical street minutes away from very busy Waterloo. Absolutely love this place.
Great hidden restaurant at the back and nice spread of beers and ales , plus great information about the options
Try the Spicy Pad Thai and Shrimp - Very good Thai food , unexpected. And great ales too. This small pub is a gem.
Proper London pub in an old victorian road that serves great beer . Whats not to like!
Best Thai food in the area. Quick service , perfect for lunchtime. Phad Thai every time. Great feel to it - spot the luvvies from the nearby Old Vic.
A nice local near Waterloo away from the tourists with a Dr. Who street nearby
Pub in the front, fantastic Thai restaurant at the back! Lovely pad see yew, will definitely be back for more.
Love this place. The Thai food is pretty reasonable.
Great beers and ambience, a stones throw away from Waterloo but without all the annoying tourists
I like it. It's tiny and it's busy, but it's got a lovely vibe about it.
The beer is great but frankly give the food a miss. The starters were much as you'd get from the frozen aisle of the supermarket and the mains much the same. A big disappointment given the reviews
Great food, quick service lively atmosphere , highly recommended
A fantastic traditional pub tucked away down the terraced houses .
Cosy dog friendly pub with a Thai restaurant out back
Great spot for a drink - though gets very busy.
Lots of suits. But some nice ale , some interesting characters and great Thai food out back.
Amazing Thai food . Who would've thought?! Secretly hidden out the back! Best Thai food since Thailand!!
If you can handle it the Dark Star Imperial Stout at 10.5% is wonderful!
Great tucked away ale pub . Don't tell everyone!
Board games played here every Sunday 3 to 10. Lovely group.
Cosy, great atmosphere and service. The perfect local.
Nice pub and great Thai food out the back!
A hidden gem . The Thai food is very good.
Good selection of real ales and great Thai food out the back.
Best pub in the area. One of the barman is called merlin and the other has styled himself on Ming the merciless.
A gem of a back street boozer. 8 real ales on tap - fantastic!
Good ales , nice place - Thai food out the back, nice! Be careful: add the foodbill up again, auto tipping is in place...
Excellent ale selection . Friendly place
Excellent pub and decent Thai food .
Best neighbourhood pub in London? Nice&cozy.
Amazing Thai food and Sunday roast
Get the pad thai . It's amazing!
Old pub around the back of The Cut. A nice alternative to Anchor and Hope although food isn't same league (thai instead). Open fire , orig. ale , cosy, friendly .
great little boozer with great staff
Great pub , huge selection of ales
Good ales and atmosphere
If you look carefully, you may see the pub cat. It's pretty cute !
Really great Thai food in cosy vintage setting out the back of the pub. All the classics. Pad Thai is awesome - Ceci Gath
