What a beautiful venue with fantastic performances . The acoustic there is phenomenal. It's cozy and comfortable .
Every other Wednesday during the summer, enjoy a cool local band and a classic movie with Sound and Cinema . Get there early. It's become popular.
You can tell it's owned by the city and staff is great. I wish they would cater to more smaller events but they really push large ones...
Enjoy loads of shows, operas, The Nutcracker and other ballets plus so much more! Classy bar with several private venues for a taste of style in a beautiful setting!
Having a drink during intermissions on the balcony that overlooks the water and park is worth the ticket price! "Tarantino in Concert " during SXSW! More deets at do512.com
The Long Center - such a great venue with unique performances ! At the Idina Menzel show, they upgraded tickets (for free!) to better seats because the show did not sell out - pretty awesome!
Founded in 1911, the Symphony is Austin’s oldest performing arts group . The Halloween Children’s Concert and Christmas Sing-Along are local family faves.
They actually provide a live audio description service to make ballet accessible to the visually impaired. I think this is amazing highly highly recommend.
For at least some performances , you can pay the valet 5 bucks extra to park your car right up front and then keep your keys, for a quick escape at the end. You just have to ask.
Very nice venue - Texas Monthly BBQ Fest was great we had tons of fun!!
parking in the garage is least desirable option. can take 15 min just to back out of your spot if you get to your car when everyone else is leaving the garage .
Some of the friendliest staff I've ever come across. I always enjoy the shows here.
The Long Center is home to Austin’s premier performance art groups , including the Austin Symphony Orchestra, Austin Lyric Opera and Ballet Austin. See touring acts here as well .
Parking garage tip: What is 2nd level on the east side is 3rd level on the west side. It makes a big difference when you're walking it
awesome new collectible sippy cups at the bars . just ask!
$7 for garage parking reasonable as close and convenient. Great views from patio and lawn with cold drink from outside bar in hand!
Nice venue, have been here several times, the individuals are sometimes complete salespersons, sometimes extremely awesome...
Best of Austin's large arts venues.
Parking at city of Austin lot -- sometimes there's a fee. Same $7 as garage but cash only . Advantage is lots faster exiting surface lot. Garage has long lines usually.
Concerts in the Park on the lawn in front with Austin Symphony ! Sundays during the summer at 7:30pm. Great for a picnic , a date, alone, or with the kids.
Take advantage of the car2go drop zone at events like Blues on the Green or Sound and Cinema .
Sipping champagne at intermission on the terrace overlooking the river with the city as background. Can't get any better.
Be sure and check out all manner of great #AustinLive shows at the Rollins.
Great story teller. Better than last year.
Plenty of shows with quality service. Go see something today!
If you can get over the unnecessarily pretentious ushers, this is one of the best theaters in the country .
Order your intermission drink before the show starts, and it will be waiting for you at the break!
Check out their free summer concert series.
Be sure to catch the seasonal "Concerts in the Park " on the front lawn with the Austin Symphony !

See Bon Iver here.
Parking here is a nightmare. Takes an hour to leave the garage after the symphony.
Amazing acoustics. World class facility. Bring plenty of cash, though, because a glass of boring, industrial wine will set you back at least $9! - MetroSeeker.com
Awesome concert venue because of the layout and acoustics - great staff. - Jay Jameson
Love the building and structure itself but it is always perfect for whatever occasion I end up there for. Whether its the Austin Rodeo Gala - Holly Hopson
My dog definitely loves Auditorium Shores. All in all, a great place for Rover to roam. Just make sure that you keep an eye on your dog. It is a dog park. Lots of dogs with different behaviors. - John Walls
