We love this place. We had seats toward the back on the floor this time and they were still great! Better than the nosebleed section.
Excellent spot to enjoy Broadway shows , ballets , concerts and more! Be sure to enjoy a cocktail during intermission and see if the sunset porch is available for an awesome view !
Amazing acoustics . World class facility. Bring plenty of cash, though, because a glass of boring, industrial wine will set you back at least $9!
Get to the theatre early for your show - Skip the valet and park near the exit at the closest parking garage . When you get inside get a cocktail and enjoy it on the balcony watching the sunset :)
It is a great venue for watching plays comfortable and pretty good acoustics .
Not a bad seat in the hall. Photo from 4 floor balcony row L. Could see everything.
Strict Security Policies. Front employees are almost always great. Volunteer Ushers endearing, using elderly trying to swing in the dark! Inside security had one serious bitch. Wish I were down name.
Good venue. Not a lot of vendors. Lines are too long. But beer selection was decent. Seating is very comfortable . Acoustics are great.
Great sound system ! Had a great time !
Touring theater productions, ballet , film , music and more can be seen at the Bass Concert Hall on the University of Texas campus. The flagship theater seats nearly 3,000.
Ladies, make sure to not bring your regular handbag as you must use a clear handbag or bring no bag at all
Excellent spot for a Broadway show . The cafe upstairs has the worst and slowest staff in the world.
Keep going up the stairs to avoid Lon beverage lines - and when the lights flash it isn't a power outage it means you need to sit down.
Order drinks for intermission before the show starts; you will be set.
Use bathrooms near the library during intermission - shorter lines
Check out the art displayed throughout the venue. Some really wonderful stuff.
Hey Bass Concert Hall, you should join Freebie! The benefits are amazing for both you and me. Read more
Long lines at the bar ? Try the Members' Lounge ; it's not unheard-of for non-members to get in and the selection is the best in the house.
Just like at every other venue in Austin , there's a bar on every floor so don't wait in line .
Having a blast at the Rain concert !!!!! Haven't been here at Bass in years, its looking good.
Great venue. Very expensive drinks.
A nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon
Parking sucks. Go early and bring cash.
There's a bar on every floor, so less lines :)
Mamma-Mia with Greta my love!
Guys, go to the 4th floor john during intermission ! No lines .
Massive space
Prepaid parking is half price
If you are planning on eating at the cafe , try arriving at least an hour and a half in advance
Always look for ian when getting drinks. He's the best bartender .
Shows and student tickets
To Kill a Mockingbird
Watch out for parking ! It's not peachy keen!
Arrive early to park ; attendants are SLOW.
Wicked trip to Austin
Go to level two cafe . No lines .

Valet is a rip off
Beautiful.
Boyfriend and I came here to see FLUFFY!! Absolutely amazing. Wish we had bought our tickets sooner and been able to have better seats but still had a great time! - Maegan Harless
