The Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum Library houses forty-five million pages of historical documents which include the papers from the entire public career of LBJ. The museum features permanent, traveling, and special exhibits centered around the life and times of President Johnson.

Loved the museum ! The LBJ phone recordings are a great addition and really give insight into the man he was. Definitely a must do if you want to learn more about him and his presidency!
This museum used to be free but now charges a small fee. $8 for adults and $5 for senior citizens. It was worth the price of the tickets to learn so much about our history.
One rotating exhibit near the entrance... then huge sections on overview of LBJ + more in-depth areas upstairs about his policies and impact!!! ~2 hours to explore the whole place, well worth it!!
Must do stop for Austinites and highly recommend for tourists . Al about LBJ but usually some cool temporary exhibit . Don't be afraid to learn something!

This was an extraordinary library to visit. LBJ only made the mistake of Vietnam otherwise a very memorable president.

The museum is very modern! I loved the interactive displays. The Civil Rights Act portion is especially fascinating.

We found this museum to be very informative. Worth the visit.
Even if you don't go in, admire the view from the building and the design.
Plan to spend several hours, be sure to listen to the phone calls he made. Well worth spending several hours of your time.

Amazing museum . Absolutely worth a visit if you are in the area.
This library was dedicated on May 22nd 1971. Over 45 million pages of documents are located in this museum , some of which were written by LBJ himself.
Amazing for those who love to learn about the history in which built us... or at least attempted to do it right *bias*

Its more of a monument than a museum but if you like beineke library you will like this building.
The LBJ exhibit was good, awesome bonus was the Walter Cronkite exhibit was a bonus, and admission to both was free!

Soak in the Great Hall which features a four-story, glass encased view of the archives collection.
Our race runs just to the east of this famous presidential library and museum .
The Library is undergoing renovations until December, not a lot to see right now.
