The imagineers and archivists pulled out the stops with this place. The food is great (get the biscuits !) and the liquor program is excellent!
I can't say enough about the signature friend biscuits . So delicious and the apricot butter was just the icing on the cake . Prefix menu was good, loved the coconut soup , & the date stuffed chicken
There are always great dishes on the menu that rotates seasonally, but the Carthay Signature Fried Biscuits and Fire Cracker Duck Wings are two dishes that never leave the menu and are worth ordering.
My favorite place to eat at Disneyland . The food is amazing. Get Korean Chili Glazed Angus Sirloinw/Cashew Fried Rice , and Tropical Pineapple Red Bell Pepper Sauce . The cocktails are great as well .
Wow. The Al fresco dining is better than then general dine in… do NOT sleep on the Bao buns or the cheese board (changes seasonally). Also- if you get Holly as a server you’re in for a delightful time
A MUST for a break during a Disney day. Food is fresh and light for lunch , and the cocktails are ???????? staff is super friendly as to be expected
What can I say? If you're looking to fulfill your whiskey needs or want a Negroni stat this is your place. It is top notch with its service and the decor is spot on
Nice place to take a break from waiting in line at rides and have a cocktail or press pot coffee ; the blue crab lettuce cups and lemon ginger chicken soba salad are quite good
The signature fried biscuits to start. Then have the Carthay autumn salad (so fresh and sweet) and then have the lamb porterhouse . Can not go wrong.
Yes, it's definitely a little slow, but I was really impressed with all the food. It was delicious and hot. The "biscuits " are more like fritters and are so yummy. Worth the wait and price.
This is not your ordinary theme park restaurant . Disney as pulled out all stops on taste, atmosphere, and setting for this dining experience. Be prepared to spend $100+ for a single person though.
Menus are seasonal, so return visits have new flavors to try. Staff have not tried all the dishes, but do tend to have good wine pairing suggestions.
The prix fixe dinner menu before World of Color offered several choices & all were delicious. We had a party of 13 and everyone had something different.
Food was amazing! Firecracker duck wings are super spicy , but delicious! Also the lamb and the biscuits were very good! Try Pimms punch! Best drink there!
Get the Negroni . They make one of the best you’ll ever have.
Fun facts -- specially made ONLY for Carthay, not found anywhere else in the parks : soundtrack, coffee blend (Joffrey's), Tea blend, toilet paper!
Our server Tricia was so much fun. She paid great attention to us, providing personalized service and also made us laugh, making our evening even more fun.
Always make reservations . Or just enjoy some damn good cocktails and apps in the lounge and relax for a while ???? the cheese board is delish
Phil is hands down one of the best servers I have EVER had. Gave excellent recommendations, was super friendly , and truly added to our dining experience! Get the rib eye !
Probably the best meal I’ve had on any Disney property. Totally seasonal menu + straight up magical service.
If you're lucky you'll have a window view ! Or you'll have a view of John Lasseter's teeth.
If there is a vegetarian in your party, ask about off-menu options. There are more than the salad on the menu.
The food is amazing and drinks are good ... Good to take a rest from the hustle and bustle of the Disney crowd ...
Sit in the lounge for a great light meal and cocktail with no reservation . Bonus, gluten free garlic bread available.
Try the biscuits with the apricot butter. They have jalapeños in them but they're pretty mild.
GREAT service & drinks, food was amazing, although a little small, but SO worth it! Will be back!
Look closely at the wood grain in the tables and you might see the Evil Queen. The chandeliers also mimic her crown, complete with an apple dangling from the middle!
Foods, cozy , good spot for dating and hanging out with friends and meeting new people.
Our lounge server Jenn was wonderful and very knowledgable about the lounge menu. The rosewater soda with vodka (her suggestion) was fantastic!
Try the Cheeseburger - 8 oz. Angus Burger Tillamook Cheddar Cheese , Black Pepper Bacon , and Grilled Onions served with French Fries and House-made Pickles with French Fries .
We visited on a slower park day but the service is wonderful. Our drinks were never empty. The staff was very attentive. Overall front start to finish a little over an hour for two people.
If you're eating at the bar make sure to get the Vietnamese tacos . Pair it with a Pimm's Punch or a Rose Water Soda
The pork chops are super thick. And the spicy duck wings are amazing.
Even if you don't have a reservation in the restaurant you can stop by the lounge . Huge cocktail menu .
The menu changes seasonally featuring the best of California. Love the infusion of fall with pumpkin soup and salad .
Take advantage of the "World of Color " package. Our waitress was very helpful giving great information for first time Disneyland visitors.
Food was excellent! Kitchen a little slow, but they are probably still just working out the kinks. Finally, a fine dining restaurant in DCA again!
The negroni is my favorite ride.
The cooks here know how to make a mean steak . Once you've got that down, everything else is secondary. Great place.
The bar is amazing lots of old school cocktails made awesomely! Ask for James as your bartender and tell him the Breedloves sent you :)
try the rosewater soda . it's light and delicate. lovely. also the complimentary water is still or sparkling, free of charge!
Surprisingly good! Cheese plate is a good deal . Cocktails are nice & strong.
My new favorite restaurant on either coast. Fantastic bartenders and excellent food. Well done @Disneyland
If its your birthday or a special occasion , you can sit in the VIP dining room: Buena Vista (seats up to six).
Fantastic atmosphere, GREAT service and to notch food...
Definitely recommend. The staff is quite friendly . And I loved the ambiance.
Understand that if you are doing the world of colour you need to get to the assigned seating at least an hour before the viewing
This place is amazing. Such a great atmosphere. Total escape from the park .
The quail is divine, and the pork gorditas are to die for. John was our server and he was very attentive and prompt.
the ambiance is great and the drinks are even better. be sure to try to "Rob Roy"
First Starbucks at a Disney park - can't go wrong with your favourite coffee at your fingertips! Try their desserts, many are Disney themed & a nice treat. - Carolina
Grab a Starbucks here, relax and people watch! :) - Robert Henriques
Chili cheese fries are big and cheap! Great food. - Matthew Redrich
Get the buffet, the turkey is excellent. Bread pudding for dessert NOMS! - Morgan Henry
You can still get mozzarella sticks if you ask. They take an extra couple of minutes but definitely worth it! - Hector Guerrero
The best ice cream cones are at the back of Toontown! The serving size is HUGE and they're relatively inexpensive (in comparison). - Casey
It's just like the movie. Great view of Carsland on this ride and is super fast. Worth the wait! Make sure you grab a fast pass if they're available. - Linda Roque
If you can swing it, the World of Color Dining package is the way to go. I've done it both ways and the better viewing option is always in line with the dinner package. - Dave G
