Great view from the top. Downtown within sight on a clear day.
We my first time and it was easy to drop things off in the different sections. I dropped of a small refrigerator, old broken printer and large broken monitor as well as an old TV that did not work.
Great walking and biking trials, "hike " up "mt trashmore" for a great view of north Raleigh.
Very convenient when cleaning out. Has recycling for 9+ different types of refuse.
Hike to the top of the hill . You'll be rewarded with the best views of Wake County !
The sign says the gates open at 8:00. Realistically that is a lie. I have been there at 11 and they still were not open. I would say showing up before 9 is risky.
Best view in all of Wake County . You can see for miles on top of Mt. Trashill.

Overall we like this park. Plenty of open spaces for the kids to run and free play. Playground is above average. Biking/hiking trail by the river is great. Downside: sometimes sketchy people.. - Noel Yakubowski
