Overall we like this park . Plenty of open spaces for the kids to run and free play. Playground is above average. Biking/hiking trail by the river is great. Downside: sometimes sketchy people..
I love Anderson Point Park—it's truly one of my top 5 or 10 favorite parks in Raleigh. But the signs that refer to the "SCENIC OVERLOOK"? Well , honestly, it's neither.
Classy place . A bunch of dads on the playground getting wasted with beer cans in their hands, as their kids play. And it's Easter Sunday at noon. Charming.
Great for running, walking and cycling. Keep to the right.
This is a good water refill stopping point for cyclists riding the Mountains to the Sea Trail .
Very beautiful after snowfall...Make sure you walk the path and see the river .
Check out the Rock n Rebellion Half marathon that will be run from this location April 2014
