Perfect place to go for a meal after visiting The Met – it’s like being transported to a little town in Italy. Their Paninis are perfect, the DIY Tiramisu is awe-inspiring and cappuccino is lovely.

This is a wonderful little spot a few blocks off 5th Ave. A perfect Italian cafe . Perfect for an espresso and a panini .

Eduard K

Best cappuccino in Manhattan , I've tried to find better without success. VQ is owned by the same people as Bottega del Vino (kitty corner from the Plaza Hotel ). Read the article on the wall there.

Karsten

A cozy little place; so cute , you may momentarily forget you're in New York. Order the Garganelli and the tiramisu for dessert

Even the dinner pastas are fascinating. The real vongole alla pescatora I ve been looking for.❤️

Alexa Jane Brooks

Traditional Italian food . Beautiful cafe . Sweet green door at entrance. High quality coffee . Plus the best tiramisu I've ever had.

AmateurConcierge

Tasty little trattoria. Lentil soup special warmed us up and both the sandwiches were tasty. Good bread

Sarah M

Looking for something light, but Italian. This is the best place to go to. Most of the menu is pork , but if you are not a pork-eater, there are some other good options on the menu.

This Lasagna makes me crazy. Why so good. Dare to say its the best lasagna in the city .????

Stina P.

you should always go here after the whitney. amazing latte , simple salads , hot sandwiches . this place is a tucked away, neighborhood spot with lots of foreign appeal.

Cindy Ol

Great cappuccino and atmosphere. Near the Apple Store east side.

Laura

A little on the pricey side, but it's worth it. The gnocchi is one of the best I've ever tasted and the spaghetti bolognese is also quite tasty.

Warrent Satt

Neighborhood favorite, I've been come for a while take a trip down the block to this wonderful little place... Their panini are to die for, especially one called ' La Madunina '

Paige C

Perfect place to sit outside, meet some friends and grab lunch . Totally dog friendly !

New York Habitat

A cozy little café that feels like something out of a small village in Europe. Good prices, great coffee , and even better sandwiches . Try one of the paninis if you don't believe us.

Andrea Karan

Loved the capuccino one of the best I ever had.

Joelle Hancerli

Best coffee of uptown! Perfect place to have morning coffee & croissant or salty italian paninis . Suggested for quick lunch or dinner wth its delicious cibo italiano!

Alex Robertson

Porchetta sandwich ($11) was pretty good I suppose—maybe hard to make this stuff exciting on the taste of bread and meat alone

Makenzie Corbett

I have the Cerviso panini , the prosciutto was absolutely out of this world. Would highly recommend!!

Jamie Sabat

The desserts are great, but it is fun to sit in the back and enjoy the entrees. It is one of the upper east side's best kept secrets.

SKW

I know why the Non Ti Scordar di Me sandwich is award winning. The combo of speck, bro and paté on warm Italian bread is perfection.

Andy Amendola

Tentazione panini is where it's at. Don't let the shrimp prosciutto combo scare you, it's divine, the sauce ties it together nicely.

Alistair Jeffs

Great setting, unfortunate service. Nicely chilled place but service needs help. Wrong orders, forgotten orders, people leaving without being served. Has promise but needs attention to detail.

Serious Eats

Dinner entrees can run a bit pricey , but the panini are reasonably priced, delicious, and available all day.

Matt

The bruschetta pomodoro & prezzemolo tasted good and very fresh. Wouldn't recommend it though if you are hungry, wasn't much to it. Definitely makes a better appetizer .

H Humadi

Get some light food, grab your coffee and set outside ????????

Andreas Kanakis

Good Italian sandwiches that expresses perfectly what living in the upper east side must feel like.

Hande Erfus

The decontructed (!) tiramisu and capuccino ! Although the traditional one is good as well .

Jim Ross

The Tetrazione panini was awesome. Not a combo I would have thought of (prosciutto and shrimp ), but it was great and they don't skimp on either. Superb.

Philip Harper

Amazing italian food of the highest quality, very posh as well . Def a celeb grubbing spot and tons of good looking upper eastsiders being cool and stuff. Also amazing rum raisin gelato .

Karla Sosa

The best paninis on the UES. Cozy and with a good wine selection

Raphael Affonso

Ask for a soup before your sandwich . Cervino is awesome! Fast service there and good price!

Stella Marie

Cute , quaint caffe in the front and restaurant in the back. A hidden gem .

Bruno Cardoso

What a great spot! Any sandwich is a hit!

dawn.in.newyork

Barbagia is the best panini .

Rafi Romero

good tiramisu and grappa . wish they had more than sandwiches (like pasta )

Mish Lee

tiramisu is really amazingg ! tiramisu for two is fun and delicious but i would just stick to traditional tiramisu

Michelisa Lanche

The meat fondue is off the chain! Appears on the lunch menu but is only served during dinner time. You're welcome! :D

Jastine Kho

My favorite cafe in the area. The sandwiches are amazing.

Anna R

Really great yelp find. Close to the whitney.... great food... menu was in Italian though.

Наталья

Good ice cream ! Not amazing, but good!

Joshua Boggs

Come here for a sandwich , iced coffee , and gelato on a warm day.

Наталья

Good ice cream . Not amazing, but good!

Todd A Williams

Very good food on a snowy day . Cocktails as well !

Ameen Al-Khafaji

Listed hours aren’t right, they’ve closed pretty early a few times.

Erin C

Try the Cevino. It was delicious!!

dawn.in.newyork

The best cappuccino and tiramisu .

Chantal Salomon-Lee

Ignore the UES ladies and have the Milanese paninis ! Lo Spazzino , Cervino or Non Ti Scordar di Me. Yum!

Kate Furman

Highly recommend the salami sandwich + a cappuccino .

Harlan Erskine

A Great cappuccino but at 4.50 it's a bit much especially if you have had any of the new coffee shop 's cappuccinos . Like Stumptown , Gimme Coffee or even Joe's. They are all better and less &$&
