Simple. Small. And very good drip coffee . This facility served as part of a secret station for the Underground Railroad where Frederick Douglas arrived to escape slavery. Sip and revel in humility.
Take an espresso at the bar and a double—iced—to go. Or, if you have time, sit with a friend for a 'fika': share a slice of olive oil bread , bask in the serene, north light. Don't go back to work.
While it's no secret that La Colombe produces some of the best espresso drinks in the city , the real hidden gem is their baked goods . Grab a chocolate chip cookie to go with your next cappuccino .
Excellent cortado . My usual spot with coworkers. We love the individual saucer and spoons experience, no wooden sticks.
Really good quality colombian coffee ! You can probably tell by the long lines that are frequent here. The taste is strong and it's a bit pricy but worth it. I usually get the latte .
Same great espresso , cappuccino , and cortados , way less crowded than other locations. Good vibe to work from (but no wifi ).
One of the less-busy locations of La Colombe on weekday mornings if you’re looking for a coffee on your way to work!
One of the best lattes in the city . There are a few of these sprinkled throughout downtown. Find one near you and order a latte "for here" it's so much better in a real cup.
If you're not feeling coffee (although that's probably what you're here for), try the ginger turmeric tisane - a healthful and flavorful herbal tea .
Latte CAT score - 9/9: cup 3, art 3, taste 3. Cat is delighted with the coziness of the place and his heavenly latte . Meeeow! 🐈
The iced coffee is half actual iced coffee and half freshly pulled double shot espresso . It is the genuine article.
Good vibe. Small but several available tables. It's noon and I'm having my second cup of coffee today.
Its a Tribeca classic. Sometimes you'll see jake gyllenhal (however you spell it) here. Its good but not as good as the lines suggest. For a good alternative, try the smile or gasoline alley.
La Columbe makes the best cup of pour-over there is. Get the China blend and put some oatmilk in it- you can thank me later.
Have Angie craft you a capp or cortado , grab a chocolate croissant and forget about what's next on your schedule.
OMG, the chocolate cookie is crispy outside and soft inside. So good.
OMG ! What a coffee ! I really have no words. It is a must in NY.
Lovely dark wood tables, friendly and knowledgeable staff , and a personalized (not packaged feel like some large chains) even when you take your cup to go. Coffee is great and $ is normal.
I just went to this location for the first time. It is nice and I got their Draft Coffee ($3.00). I usually go to Think Coffee but I wanted a change.
Killer espresso drinks AND the building was part of the Underground Railroad - caffeine with a side of history!
Outrageously good coffee . These guys know what they're doing. It's a chain in NYC, but the quality is consistently top notch.
Strong Americanos is where it's at. Beans served have some great flavor. Not a fan of their cappuccino - served more like a latte with big cups.
Enter any La Colombe cafe and one immediately notices what is missing - the merchandising and clutter of branded T-shirts, coffee mugs, home coffee machines and lunch foods.
Amazing coffee and simple environment. One of the best brewed coffees I’ve had in NYC!
The draft latte and the almond croissant are delicious!!!
Their iced coffee comes with an extra shot of espresso no matter what! Read more
not a ton of seating compared to the roomier La Colombe locations in NoHo and Hudson Square
Excellent drip coffee and their draft latte alone should be worth the visit.
One of the best coffee shops in the neighborhood . Line moves fast too
Great coffee and their own brand Draft Orange juice is foamy and taste good
Draft latte is a novelty, but one that works coz it tastes damn good (if you like white coffees )!
Double shot cappuccino and good quality pastry
Very good coffee - big place chilled work environment 9/10
Draft latte when you had enough cold brews . Smooth, creamy, not sweet.
Light open coffee shop , with great coffee ! And, no random salads or t-shirts, just some pastries ...like a café . But unfortunately no WiFi :(
Decent pastries . Solid cappuccino . Extremely friendly baristas . Great place for meetings. Needs a restroom !
Great espresso-based coffee . If you have it for here, the coffee are poured into beautiful baroque Italian cups.
The cold latte was very good !
A gem. A diamond in the rough. When forced to be in Chinatown. ...hang here. ..
Espresso is long, acidic, and a little bitter -- not my style at all. Nice bright , modern, inviting space, though.
I usually don't drink coffee , but when I do I drink cappuccinos at la Colombe
One of my favorite coffee places . No frills, just great coffee .
great coffee , sweet spot to quickly sit down and read a book
Very minimalistic coffee shop that has some excellent Lattes .
Amazing flat white
Workshop blend is my go to. Also the lids on to go cups are sweet.
This is an espresso place - skip the drip and get a fantastic americano
This is the best coffee in. Nyc. Great espresso no wifi
Some of the best coffee in the city . Amazing almond croissant .
Great cold brew ever. Very tasty croissants .
Love, love, love. A bit far from the office, but it's definitely worth the trek. - Lisa Gansky
