The restaurant boasts a fully organic, local menu, in a very county-style dinner-like setting. Out front are large rocking chairs and a giant cow. Inside there is a upscale bar area, dozens of pies and desserts and then the main dining room.

Sour cream pancakes of various flavours are a must-try. Great variety of pies , and chicken &a waffles are a house specialty . Be prepared to wait at peak periods. Great location in heart of TriBeCa.
Meet the regulars circa 730am. Sit in a window and you've got yourself good people watching . If you're not in the mood for pancakes get the biscuit .
Quality stuff with accompanying sauces and condiments like organic ketchup and Vermont maple syrup , this place packs a punch in terms of taste too. Great find in TriBeCa!
This is a legit comfort spot. To eat; the biscuits and a burger . Then the music ! Even asked mgmt for the playlist. If you don’t like 90s Hip Hop and R&B then that’s on you. I’ll gladly take your seat.
The Heartbreaker Espresso is delishhh! Pricey but the food is scrumptious and the plates are heaping. Locally sourced & handmade . Had the French Toast w caramelized pears & organic maple syrup...nomz
The bartenders were awesome when we went there (11/7/2015). Their nachos were very delicious and their peanut butter pie with a side of choco ice cream put us over the edge. Great place! Will be back!
Good southern food - delicious. Can't wait to return! Service could do with a smile though. 3-stack pancakes was massive; peach pie was AMAZING (had apple , cherry , peanut butter and chocolate too).
The jalapeño scramble with grits and biscuits and topped with bacon is SO GOOD! You won't be disappointed with your choice ???? Great service & ambience too!
Soft shell crab sandwich was amazing - Huevos Rancheros great for me and boy had the double bubby burger . Home made Watermelon and ginger beers great too - nice atmosphere
Wow, the best pancakes I've ever had. Amazing quality grass fed butter, perfect organic maple syrup . The cocktails were insanely good, too. Be careful, the portions are H U G E.
Loved it. Great fresh juices (I had celery , kale , lemon and apple ). Lunch menu is pretty good. I had a pastrami Reuben and it was delish (albeit a bit greasy). I'll go back to try breakfast .
Start with their biscuits and jam , soooo good. My main meal was BBQ pulled pork brisket which was on point with the flavor

Pies are always great and I sometimes do takeout but they forget to bring it up once in a while. For me, it's been 50/50 so far. So if you feel like waiting for your take order for a while just ask.
Huge portions and lots of room to sit outside, so it’s good for groups . The banana pancakes and biscuits were great, but beware it is pricy !
From 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, all drinks cost just $5.10. Plus: $5.10 food options include a pulled pork sandwich , a burger , and jerk chicken . Read more
Highly recommend the chicken & pancakes ! The chicken was juicy and the fried skin was perfectly crispy . The pancakes were fluffly and amazing! Topped with some maple syrup , it was a great combo!!
All time favorite place for an amazing pancakes and desserts . They offers varieties of dishes and all the food items having authentic taste. Everyone must try their southern food that is so delicious.
One of the best breakfast evarrrr. Pancakes are insane, same as bagel and pretty much everything. Bacon is perfection. I LOVE THIS PLACE. PhotoBooth downstairs !
Great comfort food and a nice relaxed atmosphere on a weekday night. Delicious biscuits , great super-crispy fried chicken and creamy mash potatoes . The fruit pies are also a must.
Best breakfast joint in TriBeCa. Sourdough blueberry pancakes are best I've ever had. Very busy place, so plan on a wait for a table. Worth it, though!
This place has amazing food. My favorites are the pancakes and fried chicken (add blueberry ), the sausage , and the biscuits (order extra jam ). Service is awesome here as well !
Foursquare says it's a breakfast spot but we were here late a night and had a great dinner . Lovely hamburger and cupcakes as a dessert . Also had a very tasty sauvignon blanc . Mmmm!
Classic NYC brunch spot . Best with a group. Great food; great music in the background, solid drinks. Can’t go wrong.
Amazing pies ! They always have their classic pie choices and switch up some with weekly specials ! Always ask for the homemade whipped cream on top
The Eggs Benny at Bubby’s are classic and well executed. As an added bonus, you can nibble on Bubby’s award-winning pancakes while you’re there. Read more
Brunch during the weekend is wonderful. Not cheap , but you get really a lot of great food. Pancakes are delicious, especially with blueberries . The place is cosy and the staff is welcoming
Wow the biscuits are amazing...but the way they make them are just good scones ...not sure if Americans know this :) pancakes and fried chicken are solid but biscuits is the stand out thing.
Just delicious. Southern comfort food in the middle of the city . The Abe Lincoln breakfast gave a good sampling of what they have to offer, and the sour cherry pie was incredible.
Great brunch spot with innovative and delicious comfort food . The pies are a must! It goes without saying that you should be prepared to wait for a table.
The deserts are not to be missed. Pancakes are perfect. One of my favorites here are the shrimp tacos !! Kale salad is fab and the pink lemonade is a must.
Your average diner menu with much higher end ingredients. The greens omelette was tasty and healthy.
The sourdough pancakes are so different and amazing. A must try, whoa. The dining room is vibrant, fun, and filled with good bfast vibes.
If there are pancakes in heaven, Bubby is manning the griddle. The Sour Cream Pancakes are nothing short of the best, fluffiest pancakes I've ever tasted. Order yourself a stack & prepare to be wowed.
Great side salad with the crabmeat Benedict’s and solid pancakes but really pricey
A nice place, very full for lunch time - and I cannot understand the hype... Oh, yeah, the pancakes ... Fluffy, rich (I will always prefer the crêpes )
A plaster cow outside welcomes you in and homey food is served all day long, but breakfast is really what’s up. Get the sourdough pancakes with a side of homemade scrapple and you can thank us later.
Sometimes you want some really fluffy magical pancakes on Sunday. Sometimes you don't want to fight through stroller parking crowds on Hudson. Come early. After the last drunk person stumbles out!
One of the most different restaurants I've ever been too: in a good A very good - way. I had the best mac and cheese of my existence here. Super recommend it.
I had the lobster roll and my husband had the chicken burger with goat cheese , both were amazing! And the decor here is amazing too! Loved it!
Open 24 hours ! They have midnight brunch which is amazing. Don't leave without getting some pie , obviously.
Tasty burger and cosy atmosphere , but we didn’t feel very welcome as the staff kept asking us to pay (like 6 times) with noone waiting for a table. We were just trying to have a drink after our food..
Rotating specials, for winter, Bubby's served Berkshire ham and eggs !! The smoked glazed ham was to die for!! The Spiked Cidar was also great on a cold wintry day, use the cinnamon stick to stir!!
Bubby's griddle special- pancakes with blueberries , chicken sausage , and two friend eggs . The absolute best way to spend a weekend morning.
Great Eggs benedict. Insanely rich. Almost too rich. Don't dare to eat any breakfast before! You /will/ get full. And I'm a hungry fella. Nice service.
Biscuits are indeed very good, homemade root beer . Pancakes are ok thin, bit sour on the sourdough front
Where can I start and where should I stop! Excellent service , kitchen, interior, desserts , drinks! Well done guys! It's worth visiting it!!! :)
Great exp during the day - food & service excellent & great community vibe. But went after 11pm (it's open all night) & staff quality abysmal; took 2 hours in empty bar to order some nachos & pie .
Fantastic photobooth downstairs and the green hatch chili cheeseburger on the specials menu was to die for.
Great spot for celeb-spotting and a delicious brunch menu . You won't want to skimp on the carbs here - def get the pancakes and the biscuits .
Tuna tartare appetizer is terrific, as are their fresh-baked rolls - Roger Ehrenberg
