Krohn Conservatory

The Palm, Tropical, Desert and Orchid houses exhibit permanent displays of exotic plants in natural settings, complete with a 20 ft rainforest waterfall . The Conservatory has over 3,500 plant species .

If you go there a lot, you should buy a membership. That's where the conservatory gets all of its money! It's only $40 for a family of 6!

My favorite conservatory. My grandparents took my little sister and I here for the butterfly exhibit years and years ago. Went back recently and it's still magical.

The Conservatory hosts several photographer nights during the Butterfly Show each year. Pick one of those evenings to avoid kids getting in your way. Don't be afraid to get close to the butterflies .

Beautiful plants & trees . Very small & a quick tour but worth a visit.

No matter how cold it is outside...leave your coat in the car, especially if you're a shutterbug. Sweating profusely or trying to balance a coat while taking pics can seriously hamper the experience.
