This is a great place to work : 1) food is cheap (but cash only ) 2) the ambience is unassuming and not an in your face style 3) the music is soft and caters to a wide audience 4) it's usually quiet

I wouldn't say the wifi is free -- you definitely have to buy something to use it (they give you a password). But the owner, Hank, is awesome and friendly ! :)

Tons of tables, free wifi , and outlets. Perfect place to squat. Buy something so you don't feel bad.

Popular spot for people working, studying, or reading. For quick food, I get a banh mi sandwich .

Cash only but they do have an ATM . Unfortunately there ATM contract doesn't let them take cards and they have a few years left on the contract.

What would I do without Hank! Best inexpensive coffee house in SF with food. About 8 blocks from Dolores Park and worth it.

The actual food and beverages are mediocre, but it's spacious and a nice place to do work for a few hours.

can confirm a solid thai ice tea , good atmosphere to work in and attentive service , but the internet here is painfully slow. study/reading place only.

The coffee is super duper strong. The food is way better next door @ thorough bread bakery . Very average coffee shop . Gets some sketchy characters often.

the start of church street is the lower Haight / Duboce triangle - heading south it ends on 30th st- the end of noe valley- beginning of glen park

Go for the banh mi . No trip to Larkin Street needed.
