Good range of veggie options . Busy on a Sunday. Ring ahead and book a table if you want to eat at a specific time.
The sharing 'plattas' are great. Particularly the haloumi and the salmon .
Good food, efficient service (apart from the bar downstairs!)
A nice and clean pub with decent food
Expensive bar grub. But very very good expensive bar grub. Great menu. Would go again. Read more
The button mushrooms for starter is really really tasty. Try it!
Was hoping for some Saltaire Brewery handpulls...but it wasn't to be. One on keg and a couple in bottles. Ah well :-)
Find this place a bit pretentious ... Ludicrous mark-ups on the bottles of Saltaire Brewery stuff, somewhere around £4 from memory! The brewery is less than a MILE away?!
Have plenty of time, service is extremely slow. Be prepared to get something different to what you ordered. Don't expect to get attention of the manager, he’s too busy Counting the receipts
You have to leave your credit card behind bar or pay as you go along, strange for bar/restaurant these days. Annoying!
If you're on the canal they don't take dogs but will do a takeaway . Expensive.
Well over priced for a smart looking, but average bar !!
Scrub that last tip buy the bearded twat a beer !
Nice décor but limited selection of beers . Eyewateringly expensive .
Look out for the bearded monkey
The beer and whine on tap at brilliant worth checking out not too keen on food - Ryan Barnett
Really lovely bar. Worth checking the food as well. Can't get to grips with the slidy sofas though... - Stefan Thomas
It's an interesting place to visit, although the rain shortened our visit! Great cafe next door to the School site with fantastic cakes! - Amanda Kelly
Newly renovated, the park and large playground / skateboarding area is fantastic for families. Cricket is played at weekends, and during the summer there is also live music in the band stand. - Peter McClory
