Great place. Loads to browse/buy, great scran. Spacious . And lots nearby to do. Lack of comics though.

Chris Phillips

Lovely place to spend an hour or two. Wander the galleries , browse the bookshop (not just art books !), as well as the other little boutiques .

Mark Watson

Galleries , antiques , books , outdoor gear, cafés , household goods, art supplies... All under one roof. Certainly fascinating, although prices seem to be on the high side. Worth visiting.

Carl Griffin

Once the world's largest industrial building . Worthy of its place as a World Heritage Site .

Carl Greatrex

The Gallery with wonderful Hockney originals, fab fresh flowers , & lovely classical music make this Victorian mill such a fab experience. Go on own to really enjoy, then meet with friends in Diner

Amanda Kelly

It's an interesting place to visit, although the rain shortened our visit! Great cafe next door to the School site with fantastic cakes !

Claire Red Robot Media

Bookshop and gallery space plus hiking and antique shops . Very good selection of graphic novels on first floor plus cards, stationery etc. Diner is very expensive but there is another smaller cafe .

Phil Waud

Walk through cafe past the jewellery and camping to the Espresso bar . Good service , quieter and you can grab a wrap and coffee , unlike main cafe which tends to do fuller meals and more pricey

Matt E

Check out this UNESCO World Heritage Site ! It is very interesting just to walk around the complex. When it was completed, it was the largest industrial building in the world by total floor area!

Andy Lima

Absolutely great place to spend day out! Go early and take your time

Mark OLLIS

Spend some time out watching the DVD. The history and expectations of industrial philanthropy are put succinctly. On the spur from the bookshop .

Terry Madeley

Their food's ace, and their Fentimans Victorian Lemonade is v e r y lemony!

Paul Smith

Very popular tourist location can get very busy at times

Giacomo Mason

Not sure what they are trying to do here. It's a large gift shop where the Hockney pictures are quite sacrificed. The building is otherwise stunning

Zach Stockwell

Definitely overrated, give it a half hour, no need to get off the train for it.

Welcome to Yorkshire

Spend a couple of hours browsing the amazing book shop , before enjoying a spot of lunch with Hockney themed napkins in the Salts Diner .

Lynn Welsher

Hockney 's Trees pics Gallery only open Weds - Sun . Rest of the place is still great though !

Henrik Oscarsson

The book shop is really nice

Lisa Jones

The salts burgers are amazing

Vicki Senior

Try the food upstairs in cafe into the opera. It's much quieter than the salts diner .

Neale Gibson-Abo-Anber
