Perfect spot for a romantic picnic ! In fact, this is where my wife proposed to me two years ago! It is beautiful, right on the water, and the lighthouse is classic!
I live in east haven so I have to pay like $20 but it's a beautiful place and really good for picnics and a day at the beach . beautiful sunsets . snack shop is okay typical burgers and fries
During daylight receptions there are unparalleled views of Long Island Sound; at night, the walls are outlined with twinkling white lights that reflect the glow of the carousel . http://bit.ly/O92yIq
Went during the Winter time and it was freezing cold walking around, but still beautiful! Bet it's gorgeous in the Spring, Summer, & Fall! Shells, shells, & MORE SHELLS!
Beautiful place to spend a weekend afternoon. Get some pictures, cook on the grill, and let the day fly by.
Nice for a stroll-went early morning in the off season so was free-don't think I would be willing to pay the expensive parking fees
I still love Lighthouse Park but it is now $20.00 to park (I am not a resident of New Haven). They doubled from the last time I was there a couple weeks ago. I still have a great day today.
Ride in by bike . If you tumble there is a nice guard at the first aid stand. Water park for kids.
Give the concession stand a try. Prices are reasonable and good selection. The mango slushy $2 and cheeseburger 3$ hit the spot.
Love the peaceful sunsets . Clean beach , water park
Be prepared to pay $20.00 fee if not a New Haven resident. Great place for a picnic !
$30 to park ?! Are you kidding me?! This park and its lighthouse aren't that great! However, we entered at 6pm and no one was manning the booths so we got in free....
Love having the splash pad for the kids. And the carousel .
Great beach if you like to walk on garbage and broken glass.
The places to relax

A hidden gem of a park! Pretty large, but still quiet and peaceful. Great place for a picnic. - Julia Lu
You can always get great free parking here when you go to little Italy. - Alark Joshi
Like any respectable pizzeria, Frank Pepe doesn’t take reservations. The focus here was on the pizza. We ordered 4 pies: clams, pepperoni, 4 cheeses and spinach. The best! - Eric Dallemagne
