This sports ground was the venue for Monty Python’s legendary ‘127th Upper Class Twit of the Year Competition’, filmed here in 1969. The winner was Gervaise Brook-Hamster.

A lovely green to walk through,any time of year. Plenty of benches to sit on and relax and enjoy the scenic views. Good for dog walking and the trails are fun to walk along. Nice for picnics too! - Chris Haines
