Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown South Congress

During SXSW, you can sleep in the lobby next to the power outlet for like at least 45 minutes at 4am before security asks you to go wait outside for your taxi because you checked out the day before.

Absolutely beautiful, spacious rooms with offices and private bath , up to date, stellar food, immaculate. I have stayed at many Embassy Suites in multiple states all consistent. Definitely stay here.

There is a hot tub (and pool) in the back right corner of the atrium. It is a perfect end-of-night treat if you get in before midnight.

They have an incredible complimentary breakfast for guests. It includes an omelette bar , pancake bar , fruit bar , cereals & more! Be sure to tip the omelette chefs - they are the best!

Nice location between downtown and S Congress. Rooms are worn down. Staff a tad clueless. If you need a two room suite tho, it’s affordable .

Great beds, drinks and within walking distance of all things fun!

The happy hour is a great time to get a pretty decent margarita on the rocks.

Um...free 2 hour happy hour and a free breakfast everyday. Need I say more?

For as much as they charge for parking now, it would be nice to have updated, reliable elevators in the parking garage

On weekdays breakfast is only served until 9AM. So you SXSW-ers better get up a little early. I wouldn't want you to experience the same sadness I did this morning.

Love the snacks and tea in the hallway.

The WiFi is slow at best, unusable some of the time. And there's no coffee after 9 am, we had to walk over to the Hyatt Starbucks.

The airport flyer bus (#100) stops just outside and goes to airport for $1. Leaves approx every thirty mins, schedule is online.

Free happy hour from 5:30-7:30 in the lobby.

Newly remodeled rooms are awesome! It's like a brand new place.

Ladies, there is a nail salon across the street. They do a great job too!

They're doing major renovations there (summer 2016). Would not recommend staying there until it's done.

Breakfast line truly closes at 1030am. Be there early or no breakfast for you!

Gym is open 24/7 but only has cardio and free weights.

Don't waste margarita money on a taxi . ES shuttle will take you around s. congress area.

Another great reason to stay here: AT&T Wi-Fi is one of the many amenities here for guests. It’s fast and easy to connect.
