Got here at 5pm on a Sunday and the bar was full already. Sit to the side and order off the menu . The wines on tap were great and the olives and hummus made some great snacks before dinner .
Wine card , good for dinner , good for dates . Classy , trendy , cozy and easy going. High recommend
The rose is fantastic. Also make sure you have the Sancerre which although expensive is outta this world.
Good selection of wine , tasty food, good variety of cheese ... Friendly & competent staff . It's one of the very few places that has decent bresaola !
Very nice wine bar with real good charcuterie and cheese . Sit at the windows and watch the cable car go up and down the street!
Solid selection of wine (+more room than the nearby, lovely Bacchus), meat + cheese . The service was very accommodating to our rowdy group.
cheese plates ! omg, ask for suggestions. And reds. In love with this charming space.
Simply wonderful experience. Great vines and unforgettable ambience ???????? ????????
PERFECT date night or first date spot . Wine , prosciutto , and lots of cheese . What else does a girl need?
Wine by the glass selection was good with some interesting options. A bit on the expensive side. Can get very busy.
Always crowded with the date crowd and people who don't leave the hill , but it's worth the wait for a spot.
Nice sweet spot in Russian hill for wine and appetizers . Pricing is a little steep.
Laid back neighborhood wine and cheese place that looks pretty damn cool from the outside.
Fantastic wine bar . Caring staff and brilliant wines & food
After your first glass, ask for a recommendation for what to have next!
Everything, but the wait. But it was worth it in the end.

Bar staff are really knowledge on their wine and the charcuterie is great. - Paul de Hallé
Best wine bar in SF. Formerly a Sake Bar -- now includes some of the best, small vintage wines you can order by the glass. Only nine or so seats, very intimate and chill. - David All
The sushi here is the definition of fresh - really sets it on another level. Try the Hamachi Whiteout roll and the Flaming Seabass roll. The butterfish here is heavenly as well! - Amy Matsuno
Best banana ice cream I've ever tasted. Get it with the chewy chocolate. Insanely good. - Mark Westall
