I have been a long time lover of the Hudson Café! Every meal that I have ever had has been outstanding. Will continue to return again and again and hope that you did the time to do the same lol! Enjoy

Stuffed Berry French Toast was by far the best French toast I've ever had. Boyfriend got the gluten free version and said they were amazing. He loved the selection for gluten free items . Will be back.

The Cinnabon pancakes , very very French toast , and any omelet ! Service is great, even when they mess up. The owner, Tom, gave us this "little appetizer " on the house when there was an incident.

After being rudely greeted at Le Petite Zinc,we headed here. It did not take them long to accommodate a party of 6 and our waiter , David, provided us with great recommendations and our food was tasty!

Just love this place. Come early as gets crowded very fast and you have to wait to be seated. Very berry French toast is a good choice, or waffles and chicken ! All is so good

This is a must visit place for us when in the city !! Be prepared to wait for a table as it is always busy. Relax and grab a coffee while you wait and just take in the rhythm of the city .

If you have a gluten allergy and are anywhere near Detroit for breakfast/brunch time, you MUST stop here! Plenty of gluten free options and the gluten free pancakes were the best I've ever had!

Very Berry Stuffed French Toast !! & their waffle fries omg.... When you want something different, delicious, & downtown; you go to the Hudson Cafe ???????? I'm officially a regular now ????

This place was incredible. Definitely a highlight of my visit to Michigan... from our friendly server to the outgoing owner and the life changing chunky monkey pancakes . A must do in Detroit.

Go for the off-menu BLT -- big and tasty and beautiful. Get a side salad with Maurice dressing and be happy for life.

You will likely have a wait, but it will be worth it. You can't go wrong with the menu, but the French toast options are out of this world!

The graham cracker french toast is amazing. Do not let the crowd scare you away from this place. Worth every penny! Nom nom nom.

You can get the silver dollar size red velvet pancakes instead of getting a full order.

Good for breakfast an you have to try the red velvet pancakes ....the are best as a shared dish for the table.

Strawberry crepes were great, but super rich and huge portions ! Take the left overs home! Thought it was strange that their street name was spelled incorrectly on the check.

The voodoo Benedict is great, so are the velvet pancakes - it is like eating a cupcake in pancake form!

The Hudson Cafe typically has a wait on the weekends, but it's a great dining experience and worth the wait.

Try the Catfish & Waffles (with fresh fruit ). Their orange juice is freshly squeezed. Yumm!

Salmon Croquette n crab with grits .

If you really like and know grits , you can pass on these. They're just cooked with cheese on top, no real seasoning done.

The stuffed berry French toast and Huevos rancheros were delicious!

Mexican omelette and the chicken , Basel and pesto omelette were very good

Trendy place , not the best food if you are a native, great for tourist . Stick to Grandy ' s coney island .

Grahm cracker crusted French toast was heavenly. Toffee coffee was alright, but service was extremely slow. I didn't get my coffee until I was nearly done with my food. I guess it's just too busy..

I found feathers still in my chicken when I ordered the chicken and waffles . I like fresh chicken but not with feathers still blowing in the wind. Yuck!

Eggs Benedict tasted like plastic. Potatoes cold. Good service and good coffee .

Omlettes are great. Turkey burger has really good flavor but needs something other than mustard so dont be shy ask for cheese and tomato

The triple triple is worth the wait for this omelet lovers.
