The best coffee in New York. Hands down. Killer brunch spot (doesn’t take reservations but get there before noon and you’re good) especially if you sit in the back. And the music is incredible.
Both a full blown restaurant and a nice place to grab wine or beer . Has a cute outdoor garden . They play mild music , perfect for a late night conversation. You can find people reading books at 11pm.
The best Chai latte around, made with Tiger Chai . They also make awesome coffee and are a great brunch spot ! Note: they are cash only .
Exotic coffee shops like this are one of the reasons I love the city . A grungy coffee shop , bar and outdoor patio place all in one. The mocha MUD makes a perfect mid-afternoon Saturday coffee .
This place is amazing. I highly recommend the almond crusted French toast and the chai latte ! (Also, FYI that this place is cash only . There is an ATM in the corner bodega .)
brunch for $21.50 for an entree, a drink and their drip coffee . had the huevos rancheros which was delicious with great portions. long wait/lines for brunch on the weekends. great atmosphere
Can’t find the Mud Truck , but are craving an Iced Almond Latte or a Mint Mochaccino, then grab a seat at their café – especially in the outdoor patio .
Great little back patio for breakfast . I think the prices are fixed and include coffee , liquor and food which is great only if you want to drink
Walk all the way through to the back "garden " area for fairy lights and a lovely laid-back atmosphere. The hot mud is the best, but the lemonade and iced tea are also great.

This place is my favorite coffee in NY. Get their regular coffee and the almond crusted French toast . Bring home some beans!
est coffee spot in the east village hands down. Friendly staff and delicious banana pancakes and huevos rancheros . Highly recommended for a small group of 3-4 people.
Great chai latte and huevos rancheros . Brunch special is $16.50 and includes one entree, a coffee , mimosa , and orange juice . You cannot order a separate entree during brunch hours!
This brunch place tops my list. I would go here any number of times. Remember to not to forget to caffeinate yourself with the mud coffee here.
Great backyard patio in the spring and fall for coffee . For brunch on a hot summer day, it was bad: warm, muggy, and really loud due to the crowd. Huevos rancheros were super bland.
I ordered an iced latte and couldn't drink it, extremely bitter. But they were nice about it and changed my drink for a lemonade . Love salad was amazing, very fresh! The space is a little bit too dark
Gorgeous place with a lot of seating for a lot of options like being alone to sitting at a table. Friendly cafe members!
Holy moly. You need to try their mudman special sandwich . Blackened chicken , arugula , roasted red peppers , asiago, and garlic mayo . And don't forget to get a cup of mud mocha . So derricious!
The Mud coffee is amazing, the atmosphere and music are awesome, and, if you're going for breakfast , get the quinoa bowl with ricotta , toasted almonds and maple syrup . Unbelievable.
Solid cafe with a full menu and good coffee . There's a nice garden area in the back. More of a place to chill and eat than a place to do work.
If you go right when they open for brunch it feels so exclusive being the only people there. Service is super friendly and the food is delicious with heaping portions. Definitely would go back.
Great for dates or intimate conversation with a close friend. It looks like Christmas all year round. Go to the back for table service and more space to sit and relax.
The chai lattes are fantastic! Everything is a bit strong, so be prepared if you don't like your food well seasoned.
They foam their milk - best coffee in New York and solid brunch . Get the avocado toast on the a la carte menu (not available on brunch menu )
I love the coffee here. I usually go for a latte but that's a personal thing. Get the mudspot sandwich . Cute place for easy neighborhood lunch .
Our anniversary night coffee/dessert spot at the back patio . Amazing ambience. Super amazing affogato ! I'm coming back here for the food again
Whether you're with visitors, parents, or an iffy OK Cupid date, this is a solid spot to kill some time in the east village . Beer , wine , coffee , food and snacks , with extra seating in the back atrium.
Huevos rancher, extra side of sausage , coffee in a mug, plus beer , all for 20 bucks, makes this place part of my top 10 brunch places oin manhattan
Huevos Rancheros FTW!!! $16 brunch includes entree, orange juice or mimosa and hot or iced coffee . Solid deal. ????☕️
A solid option for brunch in East Village . Both the French Toast and Bagel and Lox are great. Comes with Mud drip coffee or tap beer .
Iced mud mocha was a slammin sweet treat ! Just don't forget to mix the fudge on the bottom. The hot version comes w/a cute little leaf design in the foam. Don't get the home fries .
Cash only , but worth it. Sneak into the garden in the back and try the rice bowl for brunch .
Great spot for Saturday morning brunch ; great atmosphere nice low-fi music ; great people
Best chai in the city . Make sure you get it hot, iced chai just isn't the same. Great place for brunch - the avocado sandwich is a winner.
If you skipped morning yoga for brunch , make up for it by using their tiny restroom .
If you come for brunch , sit in the back patio area . The Mud coffee is sweet & delicious.
Best coffee house music in NYC! _Always_ an organized , thematic playlist, often some choice Funk or R&B. Pro tip: get lucky once a week w/ a Roots Reggae block. Jah cafe mon!
Amazing coffee , great friendly personal . Delicious avocado sandwich and pancakes . Cute decor and cool environment. A must!
An all time fav spot. The cute back area is perfect for brunch with friends. Also my favorite coffee is from mud!
There is courtyard in the back where you have natural light . You can see the hear the rain through the skylight. The place does not have WIFI , so you can do some off-line work there.
great atmosphere and music ! the service is awesome, also. had a delicious salad and amaaaazing hot chai latte !
Go all the way to the back, the very back to find an enclosed garden that feels great in winter or summer. And order the rosemary chicken sandwich . Yes they have more than good coffee here.
Absolutely delicious deep, rich, flavorful coffee . Food = take it or leave it. Happy hour (beer & wine ) at the bar M-F 3-7pm.
Breakfast for dinner ! Plus, there’s no wait if you come in the evening.
I had a flat white and a Huevos bowl and they were both perfect!
They bake their own croissants and heat them up for you ????. The mulled wine hits the spot on a cold winter day.
Coffee is the winner, very strong, food is worth the wait and ambience is very east village
place serves pretty good breakfast/brunch food all day♥ food was tasty and very friendly service :) only con - cash only !!
Iced chai latte is definitely the way to go and the bacon avocado tomato sandwich is super dank.
You can get a half cup to go if you only want half of a coffee jolt
