I love this bar ; it's a relic of East Village establishments past. Hefty, hot cocktails in the winter and inexpensive , strong drinks year 'round make this place one of my neighborhood go-to's.
They serve THE BEST burger in NYC! ???? ????
Great music and I liked the laid back vibe. Solid brunch . I did like the curry fries (as everyone else has stated ) mainly because they are like McDonald fries but with awesome curry sauce to dip .
They have a new backyard space that is enormous. Perfect for a party, a large group or even a secret surprise party.
The burgers , wings , and pie are incredible ???? ???? ????✨ service is the best in the city
I was blown away by there food. The meat pie and fish and chips were amazing. Also a great spot to get a properly poured nitro beer !
Best chicken pot pie ever! (w:bacon chunks) order it with a bottle of Palm. Great prices, friendly service , delicious food, nice atmosphere - good date spot or for group dining/drinking.

$4 imperial pints (~20 oz.) until 8pm, a cute/chill spot on a quieter part of St. Marks… come here! I've also heard it's a good place to watch soccer
Hole in the wall that's small, but cozy . If you can get a seat it's a good spot to catch up with a friend.
On Friday and Saturday nights they always have great music from a guy dj'ing off an iPad. Downside is that there are lots of bros, but that's to be expected from a bar on St. Mark's.
The place is cozy , with great folk music . Come here to have an honest two-party conversation
Been coming here for 13 years and it's consistently been a warm and welcoming place with friendly staff .

even with the closing of the glorious backyard , this place is the best. amazing traditional irish brunch and chicken wings made by an authentic born and raised buffaloean. i'm there pretty much always
Local bar feel welcoming tourists (including nuns) in search of this great saint.
$4 drafts until 8. Great music , nice atmosphere, friendly bartenders
The best sweat tea vodka cocktail I've ever had. No artificial sweeteners. I was downing them all night.
I was there for only 15 minutes waiting for someone to show but had a Goose Island IPA was a nice choice if you like a mildly hoppy IPA .
There are always people from bands drinking here... Just an observation. Also the bartender will let you drink for free if you've been flashed on the subway recently. The back patio is lovely.
Perf Friday night bar . Good music and vibe but not too cray. And they have curry fries #winning
$4 beers at happy hour before 8pm on weekdays. get a nice cool Red Wagon IPA and a nice warm Shepherd's Pie and you'll be in business.
Gets pretty crowded , but I still found it relatively easy to get bar service
I was named after St.Dymphna... ????... St. Dymphna is the patron or the mentally ill... Of course there's a bar dedicated to her!!!
Strongbow on tap . $4 drafts during happy hour till 8pm. Heaven.
Good beer , great soundtrack, super friendly staff !
The chicken pot pie is so good that the people next to us asked what we were having and then ordered it for themselves.
Need to relieve some stress? There is free chalk to write on the bathroom walls- it just wipes right off...
Decent beer collection. Peak Organic friendly . Walk over if Bua next door is packed
We've been going here for well over 10 years! Love this place!
There are always people from bands drinking here... Not really famous bands... Just musicians . Also if you get flashed on the subway on your way to the bar on cinco de mayo , you drink for free!
Most adorable bar down in East Village - great beer taps.
Awesome pub vibe and the food is great.
Wine and cola might sound like an odd combination, but it works.
Make sure to ask for the wifi password
The only remaining bar on the block where a beer costs less than $9
Super chill even when the rest of the block is not-so-chill.
Great food. Love the chicken pot pie . And steak . And the ladies who work here are lovely.
Doesn't have outdoor seating as some reviews state . Good place nonetheless.
Great vibe and music for late drinks
Try the fries with curry sauce ! Excellent! I love the chicken pot pie , but FYI it has bacon in it.
Best Fish and Chips I've had in NYC, and they have Kronenbourg 1664 on tap . Have both!
$4 drafts til 8pm M-F, but the Yacht Rock comes free.
Good drinks, awesome fries
The Shepherd's Pie is great. I also get Fries with Curry all the time.
cant loose with the chicken pot pie or the shepard pie . both are really really good!
I'm doing the hot cider rounds. This one was delicious. Bourbon and a lemon , yum.
Great happy hour !
Nice people, good beer selection , and the lines are clean
French onion soup - delicious ????
Long wood tables and outdoor seating make Ulysses an excellent after-work spot come summer, and offers cozy candlelit indoor space in the winter. - Compass
Awesome drink list, and great place to watch football on Sundays away from the rowdy kids - Melody Gambino

Lots of tv's, great bloody marys and buck hunter/pinball. Friendly staff, chill vibe and all around great neighborhood dive. You can even order food in, no problem. - Ranu Rajkarnikar
