There is a reason why this is a MUST-SEE in Prague. Not just the castle itself but the whole sureounding area is really nice with very neat green areas and great scenic views from the balcony . ????
Enter from the North side (see google maps) vice West and you'll face much shorter lines . Buy your tickets for Tour B a day ahead (250Kz), & then you can explore the grounds until the cathedral opens.
Everything around is just fascinating. Must visit in Prague.
Make sure you get yourself to the tower to get the best seats in the house for the city of Prague! It's a 5 minute walk up the spiral stairs to get there.
Stunning place, really, everything here is so beautiful. Nice panoramic view of the city . Be sure to check out the gardens and enjoy the sun. The St. Vitus Cathedral is definitely a must see.
A must to visit while in Prague .. Go for STARBUCKS .. It’s one of the most beautiful branches in the world !!

One of must see in Prague. Check Combined tickets to visit various locations like golden lane and cathedral
There are a number of different routes to take through exploring the castle . For about 180c or 90c concession you can see the cathedral or learn about the historical religious significance of the site
Right, it's kinda beautiful to be honest. Awesome view , up from the castle . Can see the whole Prague city from above. This pic, is from the inside of St. Vitus Cathedral
Gorgeous at night with the best view from Karluv Most (Charles Bridge ). As you get closer, the castle becomes overwhelmingly grand that you can’t appreciate the entirety of it.
Fantastic Castle in a beautiful setting overlooking Prague. Great representation of what castle grounds looked like during that Period. Go early as it gets crowded .
If you go to Prague without going here, you miss a big chunk of the city 's history, architecture and view . Tip: The walk is a bit steep but the view and scope of the place more than makes up for it!
Be early, so you can buy your ticket and the audio guide, you'll need an entire day to walk and discover this Magnificent Castle , it's the Largest Castle in World, it's in the World Guinness Records
My favorite place in Prague and best time to visit is night in order to have this magnificent view and have less people around. It is just magical!
Must see in Prague. Do note that it is a castle complex and has palaces , churches and quarters. It is huge, so give yourself half a day to go through circuit B. Reach via Tram 22 or Metro.
A good 25-30 min walk uphill after the bridge . Two main and major attractions to see are cathedral and city view from above. Very scenic and great on a clear day.
Come at 6 AM and skip the lines . You won’t be able to visit the church or golden street, but the quietness and ease in the early morning is worth so much more. Staff at the church is incredibly rude.
You need one full day here if you want to explore properly this place. At 12 PM every day there is a change of guards , quite nice to watch. The view over the city is mesmerizing.
A must see when in Prague! Characterized by its gothic nature, you'd really be amazed once you see it in person!
I didn't get to go inside the castle since I arrived late, but the area is definitely worth the visit. (Basilica doesn't need any tickets & is open most of the time.) Anyway, you'll love the place!
Fantastic view over the city ! The cathedral and the Golden Lane were my favorites. Don’t waste time in a long queue! Look for other points in the castle area selling the entrance ticket.
Awesome place. The cathedral is in the middle and you have a lot of thing to visit in this place with a beautiful sight of Praha when you are in the gardens
Pristine, a little too pristine... Get tram 22 and walk down the hill through the castle , rather than up the hill from the town . Climb the tower for a nice view of Prague .
Very crowdy place. You should have time to go inside castle . Best place to walk and see the great structure made in old time
The castle is beautiful and you can go in and walk around for free but you need a ticket to enter some spaces like the golden lane .
One of the most beautiful places on this earth, love it at night even more. Visit it every time you step by.
The journey by foot from the city centre can be very steep uphill. Take a journey up the Petřín Funicular, and from there, a gradual downhill walk to the castle , taking about 25 minutes.
One of the biggest in the world. Its history stretches back to the 9th century. St Vitus Cathedral is located in the castle area. Don't forget to visit the Golden Lane
Stunning castle and grounds. There's more here than meets the eye. Beautiful architecture and fantastic views . Lovely romantic walk back down - a must see in Prague
A visit to Prague won't be complete without making a stop to this castle , the largest in the world. Aside from looking at the amazing detail, don't miss the changing of the guard happening every hour.
Plan to spend a few hours over here, walking around the castle . You can see a bunch of it for free but there's also at least one paid tier that gives you access to more exhibits .
The famous Prague castle . You can visit it free of charge . Change of the guards everyday at 12:00 o’clock .
The sprawling "castle complex" is technically the largest in the world. But it's the cathedral that makes this awesome. Crazy tourist trap, plan ahead to avoid buying water/food inside.
Deep history is gonna touch you when you step in to Prague castle . Very pretty castle soldiers are standing and watching the castle for piece. Prague castle is jewelery of Prague. GO!!
A wonderful place - dripping with history. If you're a stamp collector, there's a postal office in the courtyard . If you're there at noon, catch the changing of the guard .
Beautiful castle and chatedral St.Vitus. Prague itself is a city you just fall in love with.❤
Take the tram number 22 to the last station here is the back entrance of Prag castle . There are less people than at the main entrance and the security check is organised within minutes
Very scenic location. You can visit the Cathedral without a ticket. The ticket is only needed for a whole tour but just to get inside and to get an impression, you don't need a ticket.
Said to be the biggest castle in the world.better be prepared to walk up the stairs (290 steps? Or 190? I don't remember) But it's worth the amazing view ! Make sure to walk around to see the gardens !
The cathedral is beautiful. You have to buy a ticket to be able to stand right in front of the Mucha glass but you can still see it from an angle without a ticket.
Type in "New World" and go. In 10 minutes, you'll be enjoying solitude in beautiful abandoned streets dating back to the 14th century. Follow up to see the Petrin hill and the Strahov stadium .
There is a lot to see & it's well worth the time. Some of which is free. Short Tour covers many highlights.
I chose to not worry about the tour and to just wander the castle , grab a bite to eat and shop. Worked well for me. There are a number of secluded courtyards to sit and relax if you look for them.
Definitely a must see in Prague! Make sure to have lot's of time at your visit there!!!
If you want to explore the castle grounds at a lower risk of encountering pickpockets and large crowds, visit late at night. The grounds are always open and are pretty close to empty past 10:30 p.m.
With several beautiful sights to see, a visit to Prague Castle should take half a day at least. Don't bother buying the license for photographs , it's only for limited places.
The visit is great but try to go and have a look at the renovated gardens ... Beautiful panoramic view above Prague & Nice and.Peaceful place away from the crowd
You can easily spend half a day here. I would recommend purchasing the B circuit ticket you will be able to see enough with this
Ride the 22 tram up to Prague Castle (entry £5) for an afternoon exploring the seat of the P˘remyslid dynasty, the millennium-old St Vitus ’ Cathedral , and the Romanesque St George’s Basilica.
Just wonderful! Loved the small houses and the items of older times but was more fascinated from the upper floor (weapons & armor collection) and the catacombs! - Argyris T.
It is one of the fifth things you must visit if you buy a classic tour ticket for Prague castle. It is quite charming and it reminds you the catedral in Brescia. - muttibey
