We had a grilled sea bream and fish and chips (halibut ). Both were delicious, but the fish&chips was exceptional. All fish , little batter , with homemade tartar sauce . Service is a bit clueless.
Beer battered cod with mushy peas is traditional but can be a bit heavy, especially washed down with beer . Pick something from the DIY grill menu for a lighter but just as tasty choice.
One of the best FRESH seafood RESTAURANTS in London. Try to book … I recommend their daily specials and their Tuna & mussels . The service is amazingly good. You should come here whenever possible ..
Right inside the Borough Market , this place makes a great fish and chips with huge portions . The price is a little high but great if you're in the mood for seafood .
Don't be put off by the name, and don't just get it battered - really lovely fresh quality fish and seafood simply prepared and not ridiculously expensive

Battered haddock was top notch. Mushy peas were a little cold so they made or right by bringing out a new bowl
An outside table with the F!SH club sandwich and a glass of prosecco ! On a summers day you could be by the Mediterranean!!
I had a fish & chips here and i dare to say that it was my best f&ch in my life.
You can order any grilled/steamed fish with sides! Deliciously cooked - chips are alone wirth the trip!
Suprisingly good food! Monkfish was a very good choice and the service was brilliant and attentive.

Had the fish and chips (x5) and consensus was it was just "ok". Should have tried something more specialized on the menu. Accepting an inside seat when it was warm out was a mistake; hotter inside.
Classic fish & chips is with cod and they do it well here.
Tasty fish'n'tatie. Don't be a tourist and put ketchup on your chips .

Good food, but 12.5% service charge goes to management with "only a tiny bit" going back to staff . Asked server if I could leave a cash tip, but was told that anything over £5 gets taken away.
Simple menu but go for the more elaborate fish dishes .
Alongside the fish and chips , try the haddock suppli (risotto balls ) - lovely.
The sweet chilli fish cakes are amazing, but you only get 3 in case your wondering

Having read really bad reviews about this place we thought we'd still try it out and decide for ourselves. The food was totally tasteless and overpriced, service was rushed. Nothing positive to say!
Long overdue revisit
If taking away get the fish finger sandwich , it's top draw.
Cod and chips
Quite expensive . Fish soup was liquid and tasteless. Mussels were good.
Eating in is way overprice. Yu are better eating at take away . It's double the price.
Oysters are worth their price.
Just avoid. Got a tuna burger that was half burnt, with no sauce inside. No point giving any food recommendation.

Big portions but not really good quality....too greasy...definitely overpriced....
Overpriced mediocre food. Bland, unexciting and predictable. Applebys around the corner is much better. Nice view though.
Nothing service is shocking and there credit card machines do not function watch out for scam
