The best grocer in town . Employee owned and it shows; the service is outstanding and everyone takes pride in their work. My daughter has Celiac and is pleased with the gluten free options available.

Be wary in the dairy -- sometimes products are nearing the end of their shelf life with expiration dates not too far out. Overall, a great Hy-Vee that's never too busy. even 5 PM on weeknights.

Once the sesame chicken was lovely, golden brown, and tasty. Tonight it's drenched in thick brown sludge and barely distinguishable from the alleged Orange chicken .

This has become an awesome store post renovation! This store rules! Can't wait for SE 14th & Park 's store to be renovated like this!

Major construction for a remodel got underway this week. Store employee told me it will take a year to get it all completed as it will be a major renovation!

Ask them to page "Norah" on the PA system, get a free cookie .

The produce dept (greens) is almost always bare if you shop after 6pm. Make the trip to another HyVee... avoid the headache now
