Best croissants anywhere in SF and probably California. This bakery is owned by Armando Arsicault, a third generation French baker; his recipes have been passed down in his family for generations. A++

Everything is amazing. Chocolate croissants fresh out of the oven were so good that I felt self conscious eating them around other people. I had a sample of a scone that was the best of my life.

Always weary of American bakeries that purport to have good croissants but these are legit. Price is also quite good (esp. compared to Tartine’s $6). Service is very fast, a well oiled machine.

The plain croissant is so perfect to me. I have yet to try the other variations . I also like the kouign amann !

When fresh out of the oven, Best ham and cheese croissant and almond croissant in the city . They cook in small batches with high turnover on the weekends which means everything is delicious and fresh.

Best of the best in San Francisco. A state of the art , un artisan de renom. Lucky us to have people with a passion like its founder ( so refreshing after bad french bakery experiences in SF )

Their Kouign Amann is so nice and flaky - one of the best that I've gotten! But Plain Croissant and Chocolate Croissant are not as impressive. Also, the staffs there are pretty rude...????

Everything is amazing, but the chocolate-almond croissant , in particular, is like a fluffy cloud of delight made out of angel feathers and unicorn breath.

Croissants aside, Arsicault makes the best chocolate chip cookie anywhere in N. California (runner ups are Goody Goodie, Anthony’s, maybe one more place to be named later). A+++ ❤️this place

The chocolate almond are very popular but I actually prefer the regular chocolate . Light but buttery and just the right crunch on the surface with a tender interior.

Literally the best chocolate croissant I’ve ever had in my life. (I don’t claim to have been to every amazing bakery ever, but I’ve been to some good ones in Paris, NYC, SF and elsewhere.)

Hama and cheese croissant was pretty amazing. Was one of thrast to snag something midweek. Around 10am. Waited about an hour.

The chocolate croissant rivals ones I’ve had in France. It’s the best chocolate croissant I’ve ever eaten. Almond is also good, ham and cheese is excellent.

Amazing baked goods . Get the morning bun ! It is so perfect - also has a slight citrus taste. Good prices too, but long line if you go after 9 am

You're definitely here for the croissants , but do not forget the kouign amann . Better order one of everything off the menu just to be safe.

The smells. The warm emotions evoked just by walking past are enough to carry you across the Atlantic. Very, very good.

Everything here is good. Especially the chocolate almond croissant . Too much is never enough. Beware they only let you buy a max of two of everything.
