Kouign amanns are owner/Chef Belinda Leong’s specialty, but this Noma (Copenhagen) and Pierre Hermé (Paris) alumna also produces tasty bostocks and croissants . Avoid the line & grab your items to go

Wow, the reviews are right - the kouign amann is delicious! Like a cross between a croissant and baklava - heavenly! The sandwiches are also very tasty.

Omer Zach

Yes, the kouign-amman is as good as you've heard. Try the special ones (mine was filled with strawberry rhubarb jam ).

Al B.

Kouign Amann 's FTW!!! The most amazing ones you can ever find in the City . Plus, a James Beard Award winner.

Doug de Wet

As advertised, the kouign amann is a delicately flaky, just sweet, buttery, moist, crispy pastry puff of scrumptiousness that pairs wonderfully with a cup of Four Barrel coffee .

Michael Cabot

Kouign Amann was very tasty. It was a crunchier version of a croissant . We came at 11 on a Saturday. There was a line that moved quickly. Plenty of seating.

Bommy

Pretty sure everything is delicious. Kouign amann 's crispy caramelization is fantastic but the almond cake has my vote. Banana chocolate almond croissant is unique and worth a try.

Ruslan Abdikeev

Kouign Amanns here are absolutely divine (try a pear one!). If you are looking for a late breakfast -- indulge yourself with Burrata and Prosciutto Tartin .

Priyanka Kanse

Everyone says the kouign-Amman is the best, but that's SF hype. It's all good, pick what you like at other patisseries and this will be a great version of it.

Alice

If money can buy happiness it's gotta be in the form of B. Patisserie pastries . Truly my favorite pastries .

Niharika Kohli

Kouign amann definitely lived up to the hype. Croissant was excellent too. Cappuccino was nice and strong.

Tantek Çelik

Get there right at 8am when they open to get first pick of their tasty rotation fresh baked goods !

Iris Ng

Passion fruit bostock is delicious. And so are the flan yum, kouign amann omg, fluffy coffee cake hmmm, croissant nom, and tasty lemon tart !

Ashok Lalwani

Delicious freshly made pastries . Tried few different ones like passion fruit , ginger & almond and everyone one of them was mouth watering. Long queues though to get them but worth it

Martin Angulo

The pastries are the heroes of the menu. Be sure to try a few different ones during your visit!

Sonia S

Chocolate kouign amman is heavenly. Only downer was the elderly Asian woman at the counter who for whatever reason seemed to begrudgingly serve me. Sorry for taking longer than you wanted to decide?????

Lindsay Williams

No vegan treats . They do have some gluten free options though. If you are vegan , get the veggie sandwich without cheese or butter and watch the line cook try and get the tomatoes to still on the bread

Aly Orady

The Kouign Amann may be the best in the USA. Perfectly crispy and caramelized on the outside, soft on the inside, and with a sugar-butter syrupy center. Can't to wrong!

Michael Clarke

OMG! Kouign Amann is amazeballs and the banana chocolate almond croissant ain't too shabby either. So many other items looked good. Will def have to come back and try some more!

Yeanne Halim

Had Black Sesame Kougin Aman in Oahu, but they only make it during CNY. I wish it they make it daily here.. it is amazing.

Julia Chu

Lines can be long on weekend but they quickly. Everything is delicious one of my favorite pastries shop in SF!

Shirley Liu

My favorite pastries in SF -- try at least a kouign amann , also highly recommend any of the filled croissants and savory scones .

Lauren Sanders

The options are limitless. Honestly, we had a hard time settling on just three. I might visit San Fran again for the Pumpkin Almond croissant...My favorite sweet treat !

The Seasonal Kouign Amann is such a treat every time.

Celal

Love this place! Our favourite is Kouign Amann ????

Celi Rivas

Amazing coffee , cute ambiance, no wifi . Lived in France almost two years and these pastries are top notch!

Maya Shanmugam

Best kouign amann you'll find outside of Bretagne. The passion fruit bostock and the loaded almond croissants are also faves.

Alex Dobyan

Absolutely phenomenal patisserie . World-class. Croissants (ham and cheese and banana almond chocolate ) are utterly sublime. Marvelous all around.

Keith Smith

I'm in heaven. Loved the chocolate chip cookie and will definitely try everything else in the future!

karen ryan

This is the only place you should eat a kouign amman - I've been spoilt here n anywhere else I've tried, their ka's have all paled in comparison...

Sravanti Tekumalla

Go there for the kouign Amman, stay for the almond banana chocolate croissant—heaven on earth.

Jesse Atkinson

Oh my god. Best pastries I've ever had. The banana and chocolate croissant was heavenly. Also, their coffee is Four Barrel so it's excellent.

Ms Helene

3 veggie tartines incl egg salad and mushroom , caramelized onions & gruyere , $11 each. Kouign Amman and almond berry croissant .

karen ryan

Try different flavored kouign ammans n a non sweet beverage and you’ll thank me!! You won’t find a better ka anywhere else!

CITY GRIT

We had the pleasure of devouring the leftover quart container Belinda Leong’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge Dessert when she cooked at CITY GRIT back in 2012 and we’ve had a crush on her since.

Brian Schrader

The original Kouign Amann , great scones and good coffee what else is needed

Dennis Hsu

One of my favorite bakeries in SF. The chocolate banana almond croissant is the best dessert pastry in the city .

Marvin

Super busy but super worth it. Everything here smells great. But nothing compares to Viva La Tarte in SoMa.

Mario V

Ask for a bag of Kouign Amman ends to purchase. You have to ask for them because they keep them in the back.

Agatha Yu

Chocolate banana croissant and seasonal verrine are fantastic! Tartines are only available after 10am

Noura S.
