Queens Bath is a beach Princeville located in United States.
Off Punahele Rd Princeville , HI 96722 United States
Do not wear flip flops . You will regret it. Learn from my mistakes. When you're done with that, take a trek down and observe the amazing scenery but be careful during windy days, can get dangerous...
The hike is muddy and awkward. Wear sneakers or go barefoot--you'll fall in flip flops . Bath itself was more crowded than expected. Parking sucks. Worth it though!
The bath is about 200 yards to the left when you get to the shoreline. It is not the first two inlets you see with the waves crashing in.
10 min hike down. Flip flops and doable but be careful. Pack light and don't bring Asian parents who can't hike and would complain the whole way. ;)
For the brave, there is a first pool with constantly crashing waves . I opted for the calmer and picturesque second pool along the path, more protected from the waves with crystalline water ????
Muddy and slippery. Use the steps and roots and hands to get down to Queen’s Bath. Fave: sea turtles , beautiful views
We never went down the treacherous terrain leading to the Bath. We had flip-flops and the wife was 4 months prego at the time. Hiking shoes are recommend for the slippery slopes you’ll encounter
Do not worry about jumping in the first bath. The water is deep. Great for sunset observing. Do not forget to take shoes . It is nessessary.
Very nice sight but can be a fairly treacherous trek down after the rain. The trail gets muddy and slippery when wet but ultimately worth it.
If the weather and season are good , queens bath is a beautiful relaxing swimming pool .
It gets pretty slippery on the trail , so bring some shoes with more traction. Flip flops will be challenging. Probably best to keep kids under 5 back at the hotel .
The water in the bath is not very fresh, but I liked jumping from the cliffs into the sea to the right..
A muddy , slippery hike , but well worth it.
Wear shoes for the rocky hike down. Bring water for the hike back up. Only go when the surf reports waves of 4 feet or less.
During the summer, come at high tide , when the ocean refreshes the water in the pool. At other times the pool water is green and uninviting.
"Bath" was not even visible. Beautiful, but beware the large sets. They came up over the higher set of rocks.
Don't let anyone talk you out of experiencing this spot! Absolutely breathtaking. I've been different times and love everything about it. Be very careful at high tide
Super dangerous during the winter but beautiful nonetheless. Be careful!
If you walk to the right across the stream when you first arrive, you can take a great photo back at the waterfall .
Most important thing is enjoy this spot and be diligent about safety. One of my favorites on the island .
Awesome spot for sea turtles ! Great to jump in during summer time.
Make sure to check out the tally on the wooden plank of drownings that have occurred here. It is easy to add one more mark, don't let it be you.
Jump in Queen's Bath or the ocean from at least 6ft above the water. (Make sure to look below you, don't try this in winter, and only do this if you feel comfortable )
Could be very muddy ! Be prepared to get muddy , and currently you can’t swim because of the high water!
Great place for jagged rocks and places to fall off!
Be sure to look over the edge (with caution of course) and see if you can catch some sea turtle shots.
Muddy so be careful. Otherwise jump in and enjoy ????
Watch for rogue waves ! Great Turtles and whale watching
Be careful if you go after rain, trail down is muddy
You get the whole place to yourself when it sprinkles/rains.
Phenomenal at sunset
Great place to see sea turtles .
It's a hike down and over lava rocks. Wear proper shoes . Go during low tide.
Wear water shoes for the hike down. Slippery when wet!!!
Once in a lifetime view of Kauai
Never have seen Queens bath like I did today! Completely under water! Been 5 other times and never like this. Waves were enormous!
Once in a lifetime view .
The hike was closed due to an deadly accident yesterday.
Don't go when there's waves .
Lots of sea turtles !
Check Surfline to make sure there's no surf .
Beware large swells that will suck you out to sea.
Spontan angehalten und nicht enttäuscht. Alleine der Abstieg zum Meer ist abenteuerlich. Tolles Naturspektakel und es ist einfach nur toll auf die Wellen zu schauen und das Salzwasser zu schmecken.
When every beach we visited on the North Shore is closed for swimming, this one is still delightful. Turtles, Rays, eels and schools of fish .. And shade, washrooms and a food truck Monday to Friday. - Dale Jeffries
Amazing beach. Lots of fun and great sand. Can't recommend enough. - Tal Atlas
Great place for a sunset picnic! Bring your umbrella as it might have light to heavy showers. - Shannon Doak
This grocery store is awesome! They have just about everything and they have a large selection of products that are unique to Hawaii. - Adam Stallman
It's an amazing place. Always beautiful. A necessary stop for any trip through Hanalei. Especially if you surf! - DoubleDeuce
