An amazing beach , and the starting point of the Kalalau trail . Protected by a reef, so smooth, calm , warm water. Parking is a nightmare, unless you're really, really early; plan to walk a bit.

Eric

Great sunsets as it faces somewhat westward. Views of the mountain layers along the coast, with bits of mossy rocks on the shore. Photographer 's oasis!

John Armstrong

Once you get to the beach head out to the right for uncrowded beaches with fun waves and lots of shade. Snorkeling isn't great but its way more relaxing.

Vanessa

Snorkeling is a MUST & if you're lucky, you'll get to see a local seal hanging out. When you see a parking spot , grab it ASAP. HAVE FUN!!! :o)

stephiedoo

Get there early or later for a parking space . Really chill and relaxing beach . Be careful if you bring a picnic , the chicken will come for you (they'll literally jump on you and keep at it)!!!

Laura C

Nice sunset and strong sun there! Cold refreshing water and if you hike on the rocks on the left you can see the Napali coast !

Ashley Rose

Hike the Kalalau Trail 2 miles and cross a stream to reach this secluded beach - caves too!

Dan Murphy

Typically more crowded than "Tunnels " due to combo of snorkelers and hikers . Hike out to the right for the cheapest, good view of the Na'Pali Coastline.

Karla

A worthwhile trip! I wish we could have spent more time at the beach , but we were anxious to hike the Napali Coast !

Nicole Swetley

Do the hike to the falls but be warned it's for experienced hikers . So worth it!

Sung C

Great view and large reef. Entry area has largest swimming area are away from entrance is better.

John Armstrong

Park in the dirt lot before the main lot on weekends. Be careful, low cars will have trouble with the ruts!

Shannon Doak

Great place for a sunset picnic ! Bring your umbrella as it might have light to heavy showers .

Don (wilytongue) Shandor JR

Sand and surf were great love the view and the people were friendly .

Sean Stenstrom

Hike from Ke'e Beach to Hanakapi'ai Falls - best hike to remember

Jennifer Yih

Do the 8 mile hike to the waterfall . Bring plenty of water, a swimsuit, and you won't regret it.

Nader Akhnoukh

Great place to dip after a sweaty hike . Get there early for better parking options. Snorkeling is just ok

Rushi Gandhi

Starting point for the awesome Kalalau trail !

Hands down some of the best snorkeling on the island .
