Always go for the Anaheim . Their combination of the eggs and cheddar with avocado is delicious

Mentioned we were first timers in Houston - sweet lady brought us a free slice of cinnamon crumb cake . Great food and service!!!

My favorite is the Tuna Salad sandwich . Tonight I also had a cup of chili , and it was good. So glad I don't have to go to Chicago to enjoy this place!

They also serve whole fresh fruit , which is usually better than the seasonal fruit salad . Avocado wedge salad is wonderful! Anaheim breakfast panini is great any time of day (hooray for sourdough !)

I've been to many corner bakeries in many cities . This is by far the absolute slowest!

Salads are very good (Santa Fe, Harvest and Chopped Salad ). Bakery items, not so much. I'd say NWC (not worth the calories).

Avoid the lunch crowd between 12p and 2pm on Monday thru Friday. Seats are crowded , and wifi is very slow during those times.

The Chopped Salad is awesome - even the cafe size is enough for 2 meals!

If you need an early light dinner , no crowd around 5:30.

I just ordered their three cheese mac. It was AH- wait for it!!!.....Mazing!!!!

Stay away from the cream cheese brownie . It looks soft and yummy but has a strange texture and no flavor.
