Lovely pub , bogs lovely clean & unusually empty when I've 'been' ;) Food is excellent, lunch specials are a bargain. Nice selection of ales . Just needs wifi
Lovely food for Sunday lunch , arrive early or book as does get busy. Great friendly staff !!
Great pub . Brill food. Hard-working staff . Just need a more flexible system so that some aren't stood around chatting in restaurant while others are run off their feet on the bar :-)
Great beer garden but it will get hammered when the sun comes out
The Festive Menu is really good value for money
This used to be one of my favourite pub lunches . Unfortunately over the last few years it seems to have sold out a bit with food quality and choice going downhill, car park charges and unhelpful staff
Try the sausage and mash ! Top quality pub grub. Not a great place just for a drink (unless it's summer) as the entire pub is a restaurant
Moroccan lamb burger with sweet potato chips was very tasty :) nom nom nom
Lovely food for Sunday lunch , arrive early
Enjoy the beer and atmosphere, but don't be tempted to eat here. Read more

The Moroccan Lamb burger is an awesome pick.
Amazing food and staff is so friendly
Great real ale and food. Especially the Ale of Didsbury.
Awful food. Chefs salad consisted of microwaved fish and heated iceberg lettuce
Don't even be temted to eat here. Stick to the ale . Read more
Just do not order the steak since they could not cook it to order last time. Sent it back 2 times and still did not get what we ordered.
Amazi
The food is awful, has been for years, shame
Don't go in the bog. Stinks of shite
Good ale house, they need more staff because service is too slow when busy - Martin Campbell
Everything!!!Cider, beer or food, whatever you choose will be right sure. - Fran Alonso
The pickled mackerel is superb and the roast beef dinner brilliant. Don't be fooled by the address its actually on the Manchester side of Wilbraham Road. Certainly worth the tram fare. - Derek Perrin
Gorgeous park, lovely for a walk and a picnic. Very peaceful and relaxing :) - Charlotte Gray
Excellent pub - lovely friendly couple running the place - good food - and friendly locals!! Good bar staff and thoroughly good place to relax and have a beer - Mark Gee
