I love the lazy river that goes around the park . You should come in may because is less crowded than if you come on July or early on August. There are many slides for every type of person, kids, etc.
One of Disney's best and definitely a top 5 water park in the U.S. Based on a winter ski resort , this water park delivers fun and exciting slides and adventure all day long. Gets crowded fast.
If you ever go here, you've got to go on the Summit Plummet . There are three sections, I believe. Green slope, purple slope and red slope. I would say green slope and purple slope are thrilling.
The ski resort theming is so much fun. Teamboat Springs is the longest wait bc of the large rafts and slow timing of the slide. But worth it. Be brave & do Summit Plummet & Slush Gusher at least once!
Amazing waterpark with one of the highest drop slides in the world. Lazy river is nice and decent food (for a water park ) at the eatery .
First time here and had a really good time. They have a good combination of slides ranging from group raft rides to plummeting almost straight down from 120 feet up. I would definitely come back.
Great water park from Disney. It's designed as a winter land with a ski lift and snow everywhere. You have tons of slides and a lazy river to enjoy. Make sure to be there early to get a spot.
Splash out for the polar patio , you get your own dedicated cast member to tend to your every need, free towela instead of hire and unlimited water and soft drinks .
Be prepared to see ladies of all shapes and sizes in thongs it's a family park and people think it's ok to show your butt cheeks smh...other than that the park is amazing
Thoroughly enjoyed Blizzard Beach over Typhoon Lagoon . The rides are much more thrilling, and the overall facilities nicer. If you have kids over 48" & love rides, do this water park .
A ski-lodge inspired water park , there's tons to do and plenty of ways to get wet. If you want a thrill, the 120 foot vertical water slide Summit Plummet is sure to please.
Get here early to get the best seart location. I like mine under a gazebo to escape the florida sun and to take a nice midday nap
If you come after 2pm, check to see if anyone has left. Half~day rates are $186 but that includes towels, water, all day soda and a locker. Plus, there is some to go get your food for you. Worth it!
Great water park ! You are allowed a cooler or picnic basket which is nice. Great time for children of all ages.
Very kid friendly . Great toddler rides but they were also pretty great about letting my very brave 3YO ride the red slope and other fast high rides. IMHO better than typhoon lagoon .
Be there early. During my stay, thunderstorms start after 5:30. park closes reopens after 30 min from last thunder/lightening. Keep the plummet ride the last otherwise all other rides will be silly.
Get there early to grab a few chairs and hit the rides before major lines in the summer (also allows you to leave just before the daily thunderstorm hits).
You can pre-book Cabanas. Book in advance to avoid disappointment. Disney Park ticket must include waterpark otherwise a separate ticket will be required.
SUMMIT PLUMMET IS AMAZING <3 waited a long time but i loved it. got a double wedgie & my bikini top flung off at the end tho, you've been warned :P Great waterpark, i'd come back here again :)
We are season pass holders now, we love this park . My daughter loves it as well . Joffery donuts are huge and amazing.
You can bring coolers of your own food. They serve adult beverages . Gets sandy spot and let the kiddos play while you have a 15 min date!
The after 2pm annual pass is perfect if you're a local. Crowds thin out a bit and you still have plenty of time to enjoy all the activities,
Great family fun. If you have 8-12 yr olds, sit in "pre-teen" area. If you're wanting privacy, head to right (past the pre-teen area) & thru the tunnel (toward RED slope). Great spot w/less people. Read more
There's an interesting massive collection of hair tires scattered on the rocks that you can see as your ride the chair lift.
Who doesn't love the Disney water parks ? Perfect weather and you got a great day at this park !
Come early or late. The peak of the day 12-3 is always the busiest. Lonesome beach , behind Summit Plummet almost always has seating available.
The better of the two parks if you like non-stop tube sliding! These slides are faster and exhilarating.
Be one of the first here to be the "First Family" and one of your party opens the park by going down the huge slide you see from the entrance.
It was awesome! Get there when the park opens and head straight for the 2 Big slides first!
I wish they would make the pool floor less rough like at typhoon lagoon . My son fell in the waves and was cut to shreds!!
Some people think it is okay to wear a thong as a bathing suit. But other than that this park is a great way to take a break from Disney.
Awesome water park . Beautiful place. Try the lazy river ! The best!
Summit Plummet ride deserve to try, one of the highest ride in the world
The cabana's are worth every penny if you need shade.
Like their wave pool for hanging out with a big family group.
Great relaxing place
Get here nice and early to avoid lines and the chance of the park reaching max capacity, especially on nice days!
We liked this better than Typhoon Lagoon . Really really long tubing river is nice!
some of the lines are in direct sunlight, remember to drink lots of water and stay hydrated
Love the lifeguard crew! The lifeguards from the netherlands were the best! Nice and friendly ! 2011 lifeguards tnx!
Great way to get around park is via the lazy river . It's like a water taxi
Teamboat Springs is great. Go on it early before the line gets too long.
Perfect!! Enjoied a lot, so nice
International travels that are 21+ bring two pieces of ID if you want an alcoholic drink
Christmas Day was awesome this year. No lines in the park and the weather was a delightful 80 degrees. Gotta love Florida winters.
Usually a good idea to stay after the rain. It's pretty quick, people leave, and park is less crowded .
When your done at the waterpark you should play a round of mini golf at Disney's Winter Summerland mini golf course
Get there early and get a cabana great in case it rains!
The kiddies park is really great place for toddlers under 4, you can hang out all day and the life guards on duty keep your kids safe.
Lots of tube rides, good lazy river but kind of shallow.
Best quickservice disney has! Quick means quick and they know it! - Ivan Koole
We staycation here regularly w/DVC points! Love this pool & bar! Always great service poolside & at the bar. They have entertainment for kids every afternoon and the restrooms are clean & convenient. - Jenn ❤️☀️???????????????? B
Expedition Everest is always amazing. I love that ride but during a busy day, wait times will be long so make sure to book a fast pass. - Toni DeMunck
Tallest and steepest water slide at Disney Florida. This one is Off da Hook! - Sajith Kaimal
Lots to do. Great for Star Wars fans for sure. Pixar land is a hidden gem. - John Kirtland
