Disney's Hollywood Studios is a theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort. Spanning 135 acres in size, its theme is show business, drawing inspiration from the heyday of Hollywood in the 1930s and 1940s. The third park built at the resort, it opened on May 1, 1989 as Disney-MGM Studios.

Just like al the other Disney Parks Hollywood Studios combines a beautiful Hollywood themed atmosphere with the Disney charms. Great attractions which you will never forget.
Great park for older children. Many fun rides and activities. Must do Star Tours , Tower of Terror , and Aerosmith ride. They also have Jedi training , but must get there at park open to secure spot.
Well this is the last year they are going to have them but the Osbourne Christmas lights that dance to music has always been what has gotten us to go out to the park and get us in the Christmas spirit
In MY day, it was called MGM Studios, and the BACKLOT tour was of the BACKLOT! (they tore down that part of tv/film history for a stuntshow) Oh, and it was also a STUDIO!! Sigh. Still love it though!
Of the four Disney World theme parks this is my least favorite. However when the new Star Wars and Toy Story themed area open it should be awesome!
One of my all time favorite parks ! Hollywood's golden times heaven✨ the vibes of the place are overwhelming????
To get "VIP" seating for the first showing of Fantasmic ! Purchase the package for the Hollywood and Vine restaurant . It's the cheapest and it has a buffet suitable for everyone.
Great park for older kids and movie lovers, don't miss frozen and little mermaid shows, fast pass recommended for twilight zone and toy story, truly oriented to Star Wars 2nd park to visit after MK
besides Magic Kingdom and Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios is a fantastic theme park for movie lovers and families and kids! as a movie lover who hasn't been here since I was 4, I was blown away!
Maybe the best overall park in Disney. Great for families and older children, but toy storyland works for young ones too. Starwars Galaxies edge and the parades keep this park relevant and exciting.
Star Tours , Rock n Roller Coaster , Tower of Terror , Indiana Jones and more! The attention to detail for the Hollywood theme is pretty cool.
Hollywood studios has one of the best firework shows I have ever experienced! Although I'm not a star wars fan, I loved every second of the firework/light show.
Even that is 1.5 than Magic kingdom feels smaller, use your fast pass for Rock n' roller coaster and tower of terror . The best location to see the Star Wars show is in front of the projectors
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios the movie magic turns into reality. The tower of terror is wonderful, Fantasmic is the best thing to watch ever. I usually go there with my kids such a fantastic place!!!
Amazing Ride with a lot to do. They have the best indoor coaster ever!!! The car show is also good. Tower of terror is Another story.
I had so much fun there! I know people complain that it's too small of a park to enjoy in one day, but I completely disagree. I saw absolutely EVERYTHING and enjoyed a few adult beverages as well .
I love this park it's prob my fav it's just the right size you can do it in one day or not. The Great Movie ride is prob my fav . You can't miss The Tower of Terror it's awesome!
Be sure u head to Toy Story Mania first thing when the park opens . The line for the ride will be over 75 minutes in no time at all plus all the fast pass will be gone for the day if you're not quick
Get your fast pass for Toy Story Mania immediately after entering the park . It's the best ride in all of Disney World for kids and adults. You're lucky if you wait less than 80 minutes on stand-by.
Excellent entertainment for whole family. We loved the elevator and rockin and rolling rides! Also enjoyed Indiana jones and Frozen shows. The evening end show and fireworks were awesome.
Frozen sing along show was incredible... Booked through the fast pass and didn't spend more than 10 minutes until the start of the show. Rock star and hollywood towers were good.
Make sure you go online to get your fast passes and reservation for Star Wars early on the day you are going to the park . It was frustrating to get there and find out that rides are already booked up.
If you get there at opening for the Buzz Lightyear ride, be sure to power walk in front of people to get to the ride once they walk with you inside. Otherwise, you're out of luck!
The turkey legs were surprisingly good! They were seasoned well and very tender! Not dry at all! Can't wait until next year!
You definitely have to ride The Aerosmith Rock'n'Roller Coaster, The Rip Ride Rockit, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror , and The Simpsons Ride. After the rides, The Fantasmic show is a must! ????????????
Fast pass - Tower of Terror , Fantasmic and Rockin Rollercoaster but don't miss Disney Jr. Live (for little ones) or Sing a Long Frozen (great show and a ton of fun!)
Lots to do. Great for Star Wars fans for sure. Pixar land is a hidden gem .
Very fun park . Small but lots to do. Tower of Terror still stands as #1 ride in the park . Great food and lots of shade from the Florida sun!
has the most for the buck if you have different age levels in your group. The Great movie ride is my all time favorite get to enjoy the movies at their best. Though it will always remain mgm to me.
Some attraction needs you to download the Disney world app, and be in the park to join a group. On holiday days if you don’t get early you probably won’t get into “rise of the resistance”.
Great themepark with focus on movies and Hollywood theme. There are 2 Star Wars live shows every hour and they alternate, and they are pretty cool.
Toy story, rockin roller and tower of terror - hands down three best in the park . If you r lucky, a Disney team member might give u an extra wild card fast pass ! Ask nicely and act desperately
The newly updated Star Tours is a must see. Crowds do thin out right after the parade . So the best bet for your first Fastpass of the day is still Toy Story Midway Mania.
Around the world drinking. London is the best but make sure you try the same in Japan.
There are many spontaneous skit shows that happen throughout the park . Make a point of it to stop and watch or even become part of the magic. Especially of no one else is around.
It's really more active and fun now that Star Wars is here. Definitely check out the fighting area where kids can fight with Darth Vader using light sabers. It's awesome!
If you're lucky you might just get the magic ( tray at the food court next to "Honey I Shrunk the Kids". My mom did, and when you get a magic tray you get a free dessert , either choc . cake or chzcke!
Hollywood Studios best ride is Aerosmith's Rockin' Roller coaster but Toy story mania always has a 60-75 minute wait so get a fast pass for toy story first (if there are any left)
Get here way BEFORE park opening like 8 am. They let people in today before 9 and toy story mania was a 40 min wait at 8:50 a.m. Get your fast pass for TSM first before you do anything else !
Be sure to visit the Rock 'N' Roller Coaster . It's got to be the best coaster is Disney World. Because Aerosmith!
Pizza Planet Arcade (#21 on map) has surprisingly great food and value for the $. A perfect place to hang while waiting for the Star Tours ride FastPass time. Veggie pizza was delish !
An array of live shows and music performances , plus thrill rides such as the original Tower of Terror . Step into the Hollywood that never was and always will be...
The Great Movie Ride is delightful for all ages. And as always, Indiana Jones show is wonderful
If you're looking for a good (alcoholic ) drink and a bite to eat, head to Tune In...They have the 50's Prime Time Cafe menu available and a full bar !
While a Fastpass is nice for Midway Mania, make sure to do the standby queue too. The artwork is beautiful, and Mr Potato Head's comedy is great.
Fast passes are high tech now......all electronic.....they schedule your times using ipads , linking to your ticket/card/band and then you scan in at the attraction . So awesome!
All the new Star Wars stuff especially the new Episode VII scenes in Star Tours and the themed Starbucks.
With the many changes coming to studios, you'll want to visit often. Local regular who enjoys the atmosphere and the people that make Studios one of a kind!
It' Disney, what isn't good :) Loved the 50's diner / moms kitchen! Great food and super fun!
The centerpiece of the park is The Great Movie Ride, a one of a kind attraction featuring real performers and plenty of movie special effects. Watch out for Gangsters and Bandits!
Stage 42. Close to entrance of park. Get there early! - Matt Bishop
Awesome Park, now with Star Wars section is even better. - Roberto Gayo
Expedition Everest is always amazing. I love that ride but during a busy day, wait times will be long so make sure to book a fast pass. - Toni DeMunck
Stitch's Great Escape - i had underestimated this! It's really funny and surprisingly good! Spoiller - you'll hear more screams than in than Haunted Mansion! 9 out of 10. - Letícia Machado
Its super good! Great for teens adults and kids over 10! It's a must do!! - Jazzmonien
Such a great ride for star wars fans of all ages, and it's a little different each time which is cool. - Tom D
Always fast pass! Single rider can be a wait as well so we try and plan ahead! - Kassandra
