My favorite microbrewery , accessible from the Gray's Lake trail . My favorites are their flagship IPA , Des Moines IPA , East Side Attitude (lager ), and the seasonal, Mayday Mayday. Ask for munchies.

Great taproom right off the bike path around Gray's Lake . It's still a small operation, so if you don't come often you will miss out on one of their seasonal or experimental beers .

Beautiful taproom and patio space . Sometimes there's a food truck outside, but don't count on it! Come for the great beer , and don't come hungry. Right off the bike trail , so you don't need your car.

Bought a couple kegs directly from them for our wedding. Very reasonably priced for the quality of beer and it was a hit at the reception. Highly recommend it.

Get a flight. Or several. It’s the easiest and cheapest way to try four of the 36 beers on tap .

Get a bowl of munchies from the bar , very tasty snack while you're trying the brews.

Great beer selection and very reasonable prices, but the taproom can get very loud , even with a small group. They do sell and refill growlers !

The Thomas Beck is the best Black IPA I've had, and it pays homage it a part of Des Moines history I never knew about!

The beer was super good, the location and vibe not so much.
