Strokkur is a hot spring Bláskógabyggð located in Iceland.
Haukadalsvegur 801 Bláskógabyggð Iceland
One of the world's most famous geysers is Strokkur, which erupts every 10 minutes cascading hot water 20 metres up in the air. Definitely a must see if you are in Iceland
Strokkur (churn’ in Icelandic ) is the most active geyser in this geothermal area & erupts every 5-10 minutes. It’s exciting each time! Don’t miss this natural wonder while touring the Golden Circle.
Strokkur and its surrounding areas regularly attracts tourists to view the geyser , as it is one of very few natural geysers to erupt frequently and reliably.
The biggest Geysir in the area. Water explosion is every 2 minutes so prepare your camera to take a nice picture.
Strokkur erupts based on my observations each 5 minutes. If there are 2 small ones, next one will be really huge :-). Be prepared, it goes really fast!
Frequent eruptions-every 4 to 7 minutes so if you're patient you can see a few in just a short visit.
Try to avoid crowded times because you will have "annoying" people disturbing the amazing experience.
Look at the tour group, they seem to know the time
Eruptions can be highly variable and sometimes a second one comes only seconds later. Keep your camera ready.
Come early. Less tourists . Sometimes it goes off a few times one after the other!
It erupts every 8 minutes or so, and it's pretty effing cool!
The most spectacular geysir I have seen in my life
Each 5-10 minutes a geyser erupts - in a beautiful landscape
Amazing views and something unlike anywhere else.
The crowds are more interesting than the geyser . Watch them watch.
A great show every 2-7 minutes.
beautiful view , with the geysir going off every 7-8 minutes.
The water will ungulate 20-30 seconds before an eruption .
Be ready for the sulfur smells. Like an alien planet.
What is a geyser , you ask? Let me google that for you... http://lmgtfy.com/?q=What+is+a+Geyser%3F
It's a MUST SEE #wheniniceland
Geyser . Be prepared to be wet if you stand too close
Strokkur is much more interesting than Geysir . I'm impressed.
Must see. Thats why you are in Icrland.
Great view free of charge. Go there!!
Be careful how close you stand with your expensive camera . The eruptions can splash over the rope.
Worth a visit..
Watch out to not block the view of some testy tourists waiting for the eruption .
Very touristy
Erupts every 5-8 minutes!
The reason why you visit island .
Wait around 5 minutes and see the wonder
Curious humans indeed
Beautiful place! ????
3 mins before next ?????
Wait until lots of bubbles come out and get your camera ready!
must see!!!
Instaaaaaaa stop
This geysir really blows.
Wait 2-3 minutes for it to blow. Stand too close you'll get wet.
Kinda like Yellowstone
Wahnsinn. Kommt fast alle 5 Minuten . Tipp für Fotografen : Stativ mitnehmen!
Sensacional ver o geiser!
頻繁に吹き上がるので飽きない。
Amazing to see, slightly hard to remain on your feet on a cold, windy day but well worth the effort. - Marianne Petty
Fascinating. Walked around the top of the large crater. - Clark Cone
This is a real hotpot! - Ralph Müller-Eiselt
All of the geysirs are beautiful in a relatively small park that can be easily walked at a leisurely pace in 20-30 minutes. - Maggie MacG
The most beautiful waterfall in Iceland. Big and amazing with many view and photo spots to take photos. There are two parking slot and there is a cafe to enjoy a coffee or tea. - Majed Alashari
Nice coffee spot with average cake. It is self service and it might be crowded if there are many people visiting the Geysir. - Majed Alashari
