Centennial Park

One of Sydney 's most underrated parks .. a huge expanse of nature that, despite its primo location, has somehow resisted the assault of commercialisation.

Great area for exercising not so far from the city . Beautiful recreational spaces, cycling and running tracks .

Centennial Parklands are on facebook and twitter - a great way to keep in touch with activities in the park . On days you can't visit it's lovely they share photos of plants, ducks, trees and more

Great 9k cycling circuit on the outer rim, keep to your left and always look out for cars, dogs and other cyclists :)

Huge park . Great for cycling , feeding the ducks, families, site seeing and lunch .

Absolutely, my favourite Park in Sydney . You don't feel like you are in the middle of a big city

Make your way to the Lachlan Swamp - totally different environment right in the middle of the park and the flying foxes are awesome

If attending A Taste of Sydney be sure to hit the Tassie tent. Exceptional single malt whiskey and mouth watering steak from cape grim. On the way out a patron "sample" won't go astray.

Should be hear more often. Great walks, great for cycling and good wildlife . Lots of events and spent today at the Easter egg hunt

Was here for slide the city . It was awesome, but wouldn't pay 60 bucks for a ticket- got our ultimate sliders for 35 on Groupon

Just love Moonlight - cosy unpretentious and magical to be under the trees - definitely go for the Gold Grass and grab your cosy bean bag - enjoy!

Children's play area next to cafe isn't very big or shady. Good little water fountain out the back of the cafe for kids to play in though

Great to ride around, but have to be alert & careful with heaps of people around.

You can still see part of the blue line on the road that was used for the runners in the Marathon in the Sydney Olympics - a magical time in this wonderful park
