Great surfing spot for beginners, although I would recommend Manly Beach and its regular waves. Gets crowded in summer but is definitely a place to be 30mn from the City . Bondi to Coogee is a must do

Surely one of Sydney’s best. A no miss for any tourist and a weekly staple for those living here. Mid week when the crowds are at work is best! Free Wi-Fi too.

Take the trail just a few minutes to Tamarama Beach . Just as beautiful but smaller & less crowded . Stop at the shop for an iced coffee or smoothie , the guys that own the shop are great to chat to.

The coolest beach !Only one thing grieves and it the bus schedule.Bus can wait up around 40min,be patient!Near the beach are many cafes &shops where you can buy a bathing suit & towel,&protective cream

The waves there a beautiful and big however not as shallow as Manly Beach . Great beach and the sand is warm and you should go there!

The local skatepark drags in a bit of a tough crowd, but the beach itself is beautiful and a great place to catch a spot of fun, sun and/or exercise.

Definitely one of the busiest beaches in the world. If you’re parking , get up in the lanes and make sure to pick the time to avoid a ticket!

Tourist central - really good to see but if you're like me and hate being a tourist , you'll want to find an alternate beach to spend any sort of real time at!

Head down for an early morning Bondi to Bronte or Bondi to Coogee walk. Head back to Bondi for a smoothie before a swim and sunbake. Head to icebergs for lunch for the best views in Sydney.

Overcrowded but perfect for people watching , art hopping, and a sunset walk

Do the walk from Coogee (or Bronte/Tama etc) it's stunning. The beach gets ridiculously crowded but for good reason - its spectacular.

Interesting to see but probably not sure about all the fame this beach has. Anyway as said before the coast walk from Coogee to Bondi is awesome!

Visit this famous beach . We recommend watching the sun rise over the sea – absolutely spectacular. Swim at the end of Summer to enjoy the warmer water :)

The Bondi coastal walk is a great way to see the sites and get in a good workout.

Busy in summer, but if you go in Winter it's so quiet . The Bondi to coogee (or coogee to bondi) is a great walk too.

Its popularity makes it over packed in summer (unless you want to display your body), though it still ok (very) early in the summer or any time on winter. Vibe and local entertainment is unique tough.

I heard a lot of bad things such as overcrowding, but it was the best beach is been to in oz, awesome day out.

Scenic views , sunsets , surfing ! A visit to Sydney is not complete without a trip to Bondi.
