Buckingham Palace Gate is a monument London located in United Kingdom.
Buckingham Palace Rd London Greater London United Kingdom
At the rear of the palace is the large garden , which together with its lake is the largest private garden in London, Here the Queen hosts her annual garden parties each summer.
Beautiful palace but make sure you look up whether changing of the guards is happening each day because we went there to hear that there was no event ????
Really stunning and it ends up being a great walk. Try wandering the gardens in front of the palace .
Great place from which to watch changing of the guard . Don't climb on the gates as you will be told to get down.
Quite fantastic but underwhelming... thought the guards would be closer to the gate or there would be some activity (like cars coming in/out or just guards walking between their posts or something)!!
The place is crowded by people! Just watching out here. Good to pass by, they see officials passing by, very governmental area. Good to photography .
To make the best of it, make sure you check the schedule for the change of the guard . It's quite a spectacle.
Large gate i might add, but if you want up close pictures of the guard changing go across the street to the mews where they march and stake out the corner. i got upclose pictures
Lovely place, especially if you're at the gate and they drive Her Majesty the Queen through the gate and into the palace ! ????
from the hyde park walk thought the constitution hill . watch the changing of the guards (lasts an hour)
Worth checking out, beautiful
I think everyone knows what the London eye is but it is definitely a must see when in London.
History meets modern day. Undoubtedly worth visiting at least once.
It was lovely in the winter for less crowds even if the weather wasn't as agreeable
Beautiful, not too crowded on a Monday afternoon
Love the sculptures . Great detail.
It’s not the most exciting place in the world, you’d probably only want to come for the changing of the guard and even then maybe it’s not really amazing
One of the best Gates i've seen so far.
Changing of the guards is fun to watch - happens around 11am every two days
Changing of the guard only takes place at 11.30am every 2 days. Check in advance at - http://www.changing-the-guard.com/dates-times.html
